General overview
We live in a detached house at the end of a cul-de-sac. In our village there is a small supermarket, several doctors, 2 riding stables, 1 soccer field and a beautiful playground.
GÖTTINGEN, an old university town with a charming pedestrian zone and many half-timbered houses, is 17 km away.
There are several great swimming pools there - see links below - and also 2 arthouse cinemas with original international films.
The Harz - a low mountain range - is also on our doorstep.
The space
Our house is flooded with light. Our terrace has beautiful garden furniture and a hammock for relaxation.
Although we have 3 bathrooms and bedrooms, we prefer to swap with a maximum of 4 people.
Our house is suitable for children aged 4 and over, we also have high chairs and some toys (from our grandchildren).
Well-equipped kitchen because Ralf likes to cook. We also have a grain mill and an ice cream maker!

There is a nice cycle path. We have several bicycles and 2 very good e-bikes that we would perhaps swap for appropriate bikes.

Neighbourhood
Our house is very quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac. We live in a village with a small supermarket, an organic food store, a bank, 2 riding stables - yes, you can ride! Even in the field if you are an experienced rider.
There are beautiful paths for walking or jogging directly from the house.
There is also a nice playground for 4-6 year olds within walking distance.

There is a large pedestrian zone full of half-timbered houses and with beautiful cafes and wonderful ice cream parlors (We like to eat ice cream and know our way around it!)
There is a large cinema and 2 arthouse cinemas, one of which is in an old church.

Getting to my home
We live 17 km from GÖTTINGEN. GÖTTINGEN can be reached directly from Frankfurt Airport in 2 hours by train. Hanover Airport is even closer. Although there is a bus from Göttingen, a car is recommended here.
Sometimes we have even changed our car.

HANNOVER 110 KM, Frankfurt approx. 200 km. Direct train connections to Göttingen, from Hanover approx. 35 minutes, from Frankfurt approx. 2 hours.
