Neighbourhood
We live in a beautiful gated community near a lake, ideally located to access the town of Bariloche (15 mins) the ski slopes (15 mins) the airport (20 mins) and with direct access to Route 40 which runs along Argentina from the limit with Bolivia to Ushuaia.
Getting around
you will need a car to move around and make the most of the area, I may be able to provide it as part of an exchange. alternatively i can recommend good car rental companies with reasonable prices. within Arelauquen there are two restaurants (one in Club house where the gym/pool /Spa is) and another one by the golf course and tennis club, all delicious home made food and wonderful wines.
there is also a supermarket nearby and several providers that come regularly to Arelauquen

I am originally from Argentina, but when I was 20 I left and lived for a year in the USA (NYC) then for 4-5 years in Switzerland (Geneva) and then for 14-15 years in the UK (London). then with my ex husband and kids, decided to move to Argentina for an experience, bought a farm in the Pampas, lived in Buenos Aires by the River Plate. In the meantime elder kids went back to UK for University, and we split up as a couple although we are great friends. I had a job in finance all this time . In the last 7 years, i fell in love with a man i knew from Childhood, he was returning from 20 years in Chile, and we decided to move to Patagonia (with my youngest who just graduated and is going to Uni in the UK). So we will be sharing our time between England/Europe and Argentina/Chile.
