Neighbourhood
We live in a New York City suburb, a lively town with many shops, some of New Jerseys best restaurants, pubs, cafes and theaters. The vibe is artsy and creative, the trees are majestic and tall, all houses date from 1900-1920s, all beautiful, no two alike. We are a stone throw away from the town center and train station, in a pictoresque and very friendly neighborhood. If you want to venture further, the fabulous NJ beaches with its milling beaches of crashing waves are a short 45' drive away; the hills and ski resorts of Northern Jersey are 1 hour to the North. Trips to Washington DC, Philadelphia or Boston are possible by car or train.
Getting around
NYC is best reached by train. We are open to include our car in the exchange for more exploring around NJ or further away.
