After exchanging messages with Theresia for a couple of years, an exchange finally happened at the last minute when someone else postponed a non sim exchange with us. Joakim and his son stayed for six nights with another father and son and were a real pleasure to communicate with throughout the stay. Such positive people, even sending photos regularly! They left the studio sparkling, which we really appreciated! You can come back any time!!

Sytske and her family were the perfect guests right from the start: excellent communication before and during the exchange - I loved receiving photo updates of the fun they were having on the ski field; and we managed to sort out a small glitch easily - they were very patient! They left the studio in sparkling condition and well stocked with necessary cleaning supplies for the next guests a we really appreciate that! This is the second time we have exchanged with Julie and her family. She had saved our previous emails so arriving was very familiar and they had only one minor question during their stay. I loved receiving little updates and the fact that they really seem to love the area. At the end of their stat she sent me photos to show the state in which they had left the studio, which looked perfect!

This was PLU perfection in a nutshell. Within an hour of posting a request for a short Pluto stay in Rome, Chiara had confirmed that I was welcome. What can I say: Corinne and Eric are the perfect guests, great communication right from the start and throughout the exchange, and even calling afterwards to let us know about a few small things they had repaired! Susan’s house in Raglan was the perfect place to spend family time with our teens while in NZ unexpectedly. There was lots of room for everyone to have privacy and yet locely communal areas to socialise. Of course the view and yhe proximity to the village, lagoon and amazing surf beach were an absolute bonus. Thank you Susan for this wonderful opportunity!

Monique and Jan, we just don’t know how to thank you enough for vacating your apartment so Mum and I could have a beautiful, cosy base for a week! It was really comfortable and great to be able to park right outside, walk to the village and the beach, ride along the boulevard, catch the tram to Den Haag etc. All so convenient! Wow, what can I say… Our first of two globe exchanges in the Netherlands was with Tony in Tilburg and could not have been better. We arrived by car from Paris after a long day of activities, to a French flag flying (my Mum collects flags and was quite touched by this attention) and a delicious Indonesian meal, gado gado, waiting to share with us before he headed away. The house had absolutely everything we needed, including some essentials to keep us going in the fridge, was warm, had comfy beds and is in a peaceful location less than half an hour’s drive to my aunty’s home: she is the reason Mum and I are in Holland, so that was perfect! We had the use of Tony’s bikes and biked on the wide paths to the local shops one day and managed to do everything on our lists in one area. Thank you again Tony for your flexibility and kindness!

Judit and her lovely family looked after our studio in the Alps even better than we do. Such lovely, careful people with a positive attitude! Would recommend exchanging with them any time!! All I can say is that this was a perfect exchange - the welcome, the home, the instructions - everying was so nice and well organised. We loved loving in slightly rural Hungary while still having wasy access by car to Budapest. It meant we also explored locally and got a taste of the country other than the capital. I would recommend exchanging with this lovely family wi th out any hesitation and look forqard to welcoming them to our place on the Alps!

Kirill’s apartment is the perfect base for exploring Prague, and although it’s a minimally set up apartment we had everything we needed for our family of four staying there. The secure and very reasonably priced parking across the road was perfect as we didn’t use our car at all - preferring to walk, bike or take public transport to the city centre that was only about 3 kms away.
