General Overview

Little Yosemite is a private guest suite attached to our family home in Mountain View. It shares one wall with our house but has its own exterior entrance, so guests have a private space while we are living next door. The suite has one traditional bedroom with a queen bed and a door that closes. The second room is a flexible common space, with a sitting area, couch and TV on one side and a full bed and loft bed on the other, visually divided by cabinetry. A sofa bed provides additional sleeping space, allowing the suite to accommodate up to six people, although it is more spacious and comfortable for a smaller group. There is one full bathroom and a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, water cooler and basic dishware. Please note that this is not a full kitchen — there is no kitchen sink or stove. We think of Little Yosemite more as a private hotel-style suite than a separate apartment. We also host Little Yosemite on Airbnb, so it is fully set up as an independent guest space. On PLU, we are primarily offering it for hospitality exchanges while we are at home.
