Our home is a spacious, comfortable family home on a quiet residential street in Old Mountain View. It has four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, a large living room and kitchen, and several outdoor patios that make it easy to enjoy our California weather. Everything is on one level, and the house opens naturally to the yard and outdoor spaces.

This has been our family home for many years, so it feels very much like a real home rather than a vacation rental. Two of the bedrooms are especially flexible spaces, with loft beds and sitting areas, so the house works well for families and groups of different ages. There is plenty of room to spread out indoors and out.

One of the things we love most about living here is how easy it is to get around. We can walk to Mountain View’s vibrant downtown for restaurants, cafés, shops and the farmers market, as well as to the Caltrain station. From there, electric Caltrain service makes San Francisco and San Jose easy day trips without a car. We’re also well positioned for exploring the wider Bay Area — the Pacific coast, redwood forests and some wonderful hiking are all within easy reach.
