General Overview

A lovely apartment on the 5th floor of a Bauhaus style building, 2 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen a dining room with lots of books and a living room for a total of roughly 90 square meters. The apartment is in the heart of the 11th district, within walking distance the Danube and extremely well served by public transportation.

The Space

The apartment is a building from the 1940’s on the 5th floor, with lots of antique furniture and a piano.
The larger bedroom has a double bed and a desk.
The smaller bedroom has 2 single beds that close in a furniture when you do not need them and are integrated in a bookshelf and the 2 desks.
There is a bathroom with a bath tub and a smaller toilet room.
The living room is a lovely warm room, full of light, where you will find our piano and a modern rowing machine for some excercise.
The dining rooom is connected to the living room and is close to a separate well equipped kitchen.
It is ideal for 4 but may host 5 with a foldable Guest bed we have.
The apartment is our primary residence, so please ignore calendar of availability and ask to show your interest, because we will be able to exchange only when we are not at home.

Guest Access

The apartment is on the 5th floor. There is a lift but you need to climb 7 steps to get to the level of the elevator.

Notes

You are welcome to take use all appliances and musical instruments and we will share with you some local delicacies.
There are a couple of fragile things to which I ask you to pay attention, particularly important is not to force or push in any ways the piano, it stands on its own legs but is an old lady. Our kid’s always loved the idea to play below the piano but we asked them, and we ask you, to avoid to have any game or toy under the piano.

Last and most important, there are 2 wall lamps above the sofa, they are extremely fragile and terribly expensive to repair, please wise the sofa only for sitting or laying, avoid kids games on the sofa or to stand in it because the likely outcome is that the wall lamp will break :-)
