Our cozy guest apartment is on the ground floor of our house with access to our garden. Short walk from Trondheim’s quaint city centre and in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood.

The Space

It is a cozy space that sleeps two comfortably and can fit an extra 1-2 on extra matresses. We also have a baby bed available on demand. A well equipped kitchen, newly renovated bathroom.

Neighbourhood

. A short walk to the lovely city centre of Trondheim with quaint wooden houses, cobble stoned streets and an abundance of cafes and excellent food scene. Beautiful northern forests and fjord with beaches and coastal walks close by too.

Getting to my home

Fly to Værnes airport, a 30-40 min drive from our house. Train or bus to the city centre, easy access with public transport 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

Trondheim AirPort, Værnes, 30-40 min by car.

Getting Around

20-25 min walk to city centre, 5-10 min with bus.

Ane&Eivind

We are a family with two daughters (8 and 4) living in a historic and quiet neighbourhood in Trondheim, Norway. We enjoy dancing in our living room, playing "catch the rubber band" with our cat, Milli, hiking in the forests around Trondheim and visiting the library and other cultural events in our town. Eivind and Ane are both doctors working at the local hospital. We love to travel in a way where we can pretend we live somewhere else, get acquainted with the neighbourhood and explore other ways of living. In 2028 we are planning to live 6-12 abroad as a family adventure, preferably in Australia or New Zealand. We are looking for a long term exchange opportunity in this period. Otherwise we are open to shorter exchanges.
