General Overview
Our home is a 3 bed family home over looking Lake Wakatipu and the mountains, with a large terraced garden, all right next to the forest and bush.
We are new to home exchange and will keep updating photos descriptions....please feel free to ask any questions.
We are looking to go to Australia when Grandma comes to visit from the Czech Republic around mid December to start of February - Flexible with dates
The Space
Our welcoming three-bedroom family home offers a comfortable and practical base for your stay. While the house is older and has not been fully renovated, it is clean, well maintained, and fully functional, with plenty of space for families or groups.
The home features three generously sized bedrooms: one with queen bed, one with super king and one with bunk beds, along with two bathrooms. The spacious open-plan, split-level kitchen, dining, and living area enjoys stunning views across Lake Wakatipu to Cecil Peak and Walter Peak, creating a relaxing space to unwind.
At the rear of the property, you'll find a terraced garden that captures the sun throughout the day, with beautiful views up toward Ben Lomond.
For guests interested in a car exchange, we have
a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander (automatic) and a 2000 Subaru Forester (manual) available.
If you're looking for a comfortable home with spectacular scenery and plenty of space, this is an ideal choice.

Neighbourhood
The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, but is very handy to town for all its bars and restaurants.
The Kamana Lakehouse Hotel is a 2 min walk away which has a lovely bar and restaurant, The Nest, the #1 highest Tripadvisor rated restaurant in all of Queenstown and serves coffee and breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. 3 mins walk away there is a well stocked corner shop and dairy, Chur fish and chip shop (with the best fish and chips in town) and Lokal Kitchen and Bar.
The house is only a 20 min downhill walk to town through the forest track or along the road, or a 3 min drive. Walking home is a bit of an uphill slog however so if you don't fancy it you can jump on a $2.50 local bus from town which stops at the end of the road and runs every 15-30 mins.
We are a stones throw to Wynyard Bike Park and a downhill roll to Skyline Gondola if Mountain Biking is your thing.
Hiking you can leave the house and get directly onto the Fernhill Loop and Ben Lomond tracks through the garden.
Getting to my home
Airport is 20min drive from the house and there are regular buses that drop off at the end of the street or airport shuttles
