General Overview

We have a comfortable, home well appointed for groups of 6-8, with a bunk room perfect for kids and teens. We have so many happy memories here and hope your family will too! Winter or summer, you have access to miles of wooded trails for biking, xc skiing, snowshoeing. You can walk to the golf course, and hiking, fishing, and downhill skiing are all within a 10 minute drive!

The Space

Our home has a full bathroom and bedroom on the main floor, along with kitchen and living room. Upstairs is a bedroom, full bathroom, and a bunk room (yes, we've squeezed seven kids ages 11-18 in this room!) We have a big driveway with plenty of parking. Please note, we do not have central air in the home. For those who prefer air-conditioning, we do have great portable units (on the floor not in the window) set up in all of the bedrooms. We find it is rarely hot enough to need, but your mileage may vary!

Guest Access

Our home is two floors, and specifically bought this home because of the main floor bedroom and full bath for the grandparents in our lives. The home is not large, but it's well appointed for groups of 6-8. I am a dedicated home cook, so you should find the kitchen has the all dishes and cookware that you might need.

Notes

We are on underground fiber for the WiFi, so it's faster than our internet in Boston! We have a smart tv with access to Paramount and Peacock streaming services, and you can log on to any others for which you have memberships. We have a large selection of DVDs for those wanting a more old school experience, and we have a TV connected to an Xbox 360 upstairs for the kids to play. We also have a large selection of family games and puzzles, and there's an extra table in the living room that is great for playing games or doing puzzles. Please note there will be a professional cleaning fee of $150-200 associate with your stay.

Neighbourhood

We are a residential area on the edge of Bethel. We love this location because it's easy to get into town and also we can get to the slopes in 10 minutes!

Getting to my home

Easily located on Google Maps (yes, we placed the pin ourselves!). You will need a car, as there is no public transit or airport shuttles in the area unfortunately.

Nearest airport

Portland (PWM)--about 90 minutes Boston (BOS)--under 3 hours (but not by much!)

Getting Around

It's easy to walk into town, and this is what we usually do if we need groceries or get a bite to eat.

We are a family of six (one away at college in fall 2026) with a love for the mountains, lakes, and general adventuring. We enjoy skiing, swimming, live music, soccer, and walking in the woods. Also, we are open to linking our properties to create a longer itinerary (for example, arriving in Boston, and then spending a few nights at our mountain home in Maine, a little over an hour drive to our cabin on a lake, and then we have a house on the mid-coast of Maine as well.
