General Overview

This is the entire top floor of a home, but the entrance is at street level with no steps It is located in a gated community near the center of Florence. There’s parking right near the front door. A couple lives below me but there is no connection between our homes. They use a separate entrance.

The Space

The home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, large living room with attached office, dining area, and kitchen attached as well as a very large deck with outdoor dining, outdoor shower and outdoor seating. The home revolves around a central sort of gallery, which act is a large atrium.

Guest Access

Guest access at street level there’s one step up onto the patio, but the whole apartment is at one level there is parking for cars right outside the front gate

Neighbourhood

The neighborhood is quiet, filled with bird song as it is a forested area just next to the wall of the city. It’s a quiet neighborhood. There is a lovely restaurant at the gate to the community, which is a five minute walk from the house.

Getting to my home

When would Best get to the house by taxi bus or a private car. The bus stops outside the gate and it’s probably a 10 minute walk uphill to access the house. Taxis have full access to the gated community and of course private cars are welcome.

Nearest airport

The nearest airport is Florence about a 30 minute cab ride and about €35

Getting Around

The house is close to the bus stop at Michalengelo Palagi and a taxi stand is a short walk away. Walking to the center of town is also possible in about 15 minutes and also there are lots of city bikes, usually available at the entrance to the community.
