General Overview

Our house was built in 2011, and is located in a quiet cul de sac backing onto a greenbelt with an incredible local trail network. The house is peaceful and quiet but also close to town, just a couple minutes from local shops and amenities. It is located in a desirable area of town. The house has a fenced above ground pool, a hot tub, garage gym, private fenced backyard with patio seating and a bbq, and a workshop space is available for extra storage of bikes or sporting equipment. The house is family friendly. Port Alberni is the "Heart of the Island," positioned perfectly for day trips to Tofino, Ucluelet, Bamfield, Parksville, Nanaimo or Mt. Washington (ski hill). There are countless outdoor adventures to explore in Port Alberni including hiking, mountain biking, gravel biking, swimming at Sproat Lake (voted one of best lakes in BC), and much more.

The Space

The main floor: There is an open concept livingroom, kitchen, dining area. The master bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and deep soaker tube. The main living space has a half bathroom. There is a bedroom used as a kids toy/tvroom on the main floor with a hide a bed. The laundry is also on the main floor. Upstairs has two bedrooms which are our kids rooms and there is a full bathroom with bathtub. One bedroom is set up with an ikea trundle bed which is one single bed that slides out to be 2 single beds. The other bedroom has single over double bunkbeds and a queen bed.

Guest Access

The backyard has a shop that can be used for extra storage of any sporting equipment. There is an above ground fenced saltwater pool that we operate June to September. There is a hot tub, swingset, large trampoline in the back yard. The gate out the back fence goes right out onto the walking forest trails.

The neighborhood is quiet with access to walking trails right on our doorstep, and there is a kids park about a block away.

Getting to my home

The house is 1 hour drive from Nanaimo or 2.5 hour drive from Victoria.

Nearest airport

Airports in Nanaimo and Victoria, 1 and 2.5 hours away respectively.

Getting Around

It is best to have a car to get around.
