Castlerock is a truly lovely village and has the following: 
Blue Flag safe and clean beach 
Train station with a train to Belfast or to Londonderry/Derry every hour in the day time 
Castlerock Golf Course 
Various cafes and bakeries 
The Surf Shack surf school (holiday camps for children) 

Next door to our house is the house where the renowned author C S Lewis spent his holidays as a child. We have several guests who return year after year to be in this area due to C S Lewis.

City of Derry Airport is 40 mins away. 
Belfast Airports are around 1 hour away. 
Dublin Airport is 3hrs 10 away.

Getting Around

The nearest supermarket is a 5 min walk from the house. 

Coleraine is the closest large town and you can reach it by car or by train from Castlerock.

Hi, We are a family of 4 - my husband Clifford, myself and our two daughters aged 14 and 11 (12 in Oct 26). We have had the opportunity to live in and travel to several countries, but frequently we have had the tendency to return to the same places - now we are looking forward to exploring the world! 

We are a family that enjoys being outdoors - we love hiking, taking part in Park Run, cold water swimming and skiing. Clifford is a physics teacher and I work in recruitment. 

Our holiday house is on the stunning North Coast of Ireland, an area known worldwide for the Giants Causeway, its links golf courses, and the warmth of the Irish welcome (as well as the location of much of the Game of Thrones filming!) 

We are so pleased to be part of this exchange community and look forward very much to the adventures ahead.  Though I have put down some destinations below, we would be really happy to go anywhere in the world including stays in the South of Ireland and the United Kingdom. We look forward to hearing from you :)
