My stay in Albania was the very first exchange that Alexandra had done. I am a person who prefers sporadic communication and, once our exchange began, I appreciated having this type of communication with Alexandra. We also really appreciated the little touch when we arrived: fresh water was waiting for us in the fridge.
The accommodation is very bright and has an incredible view of the city. It is located in a cul-de-sac perpendicular to a main street and allows you to do everything on foot. There are shops (including a Spar) in the backyard at the foot of the building. Note that the windows in the day area are fixed, but the rooms open onto balconies.
The bed in the master bedroom is perfect. The mattress is of very good quality, with soft sheets and a very comfortable light duvet. We sleep very well there.
Alexandra was kind enough to ask her landlord to provide her with extra bedding so that my son could use the second bedroom and thus have his independence. It was a nice touch, even if the equipment was closer to an extra bed (thin mattress and bed linen a little short).
The rooms and sanitary facilities were very clean.
We were in Tirana to visit a friend, so we only came back to the apartment to sleep. So we didn't occupy the living rooms, nor did we cook or eat there. Alexandra's cats are adorable, calm and not shy at all. We followed the recommendation to keep the doors of the rooms closed so that they do not enter.
I warmly thank Alexandra for her hospitality. This stay allowed us to reunite with our friend and to fully enjoy Tirana on foot.
