Our home is a light-filled two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in Rose Bay, one of Sydney’s most desirable harbourside suburbs. It is very convenient with easy access to beaches, parks and the city. The apartment has a spacious open-plan living and dining area and a large balcony. There is level lift access, air conditioning, and an internal laundry which you are welcome to use. It’s perfectly suited to couples, small families or remote workers seeking a peaceful Sydney base.

The Space

The apartment features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate laundry. Whilst the second bedroom is currently set up as a home office, there may be an option to provide a sleeper sofa or blow up mattress if required.

Neighbourhood

Rose Bay is a beautiful and upmarket harbourside suburb in Sydney's east. It has a relaxed village atmosphere with plenty of cafés, bakeries and restaurants. It sits between Sydney harbour (paddleboarding, kayaking and scenic waterfront walks) and Sydney's eastern ocean beaches (such as Bondi, Bronte and Coogee). It’s peaceful and family-friendly, yet only a short drive or bus ride to Bondi’s ocean beaches, a large shopping area in Bondi junction and Sydney central business district.

Getting to my home

If flying into Sydney airport and without a car, we suggest catching the train to Bondi Junction (change at central) and then either a bus or Uber, or an Uber all the way from the airport (about 30 minutes). If you have a car, we can arrange for underground parking on-site.

The apartment has many public transport options, close to buses, the ferry and trains that will connect you to the wider Sydney area. There is also ample street parking and a potential for a car space to use in the apartment block.

Australian couple based in Sydney, Australia who have recently returned from a few years in London where we got into house exchanging. We love to travel and have previously offered our 1 bedroom apartment in Islington, London (for reviews read #38239). We are pleased to list our Sydney apartment for exchanges.
