Neighbourhood
The lodge is situated inside a large but peaceful park site which has an elevated landscape to enjoy the surrounding views.
Reception, small shop and laundrette are on the site. A gym and farmshop cafe are due for completion in 2026.
The nearest town from the park is 10 mins drive which is the small tourist town of Aberfoyle with a view of Ben Lomond directly central on the main street. Here you will find 4 different cafes & restaurants. Plus lovely gift shops.

Driving a further 5 mins along this road you have the beautiful Loch Ard where you will have the choice of activities and adventures from kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing.

Loch Lomond is a 24 min drive where you will find the Lomond shores shopping centre. A sea life centre and mini golf plus go ape centre ( tree climbing) and Boat trips on the loch. More info here

Another tourist town near by would be Calander.
Those interested in history will find Gartmore house only a 5 min drive from the lodge.
Rob Roy history is also around Loch Katrine area.

Getting Around
Regular buses leave near by the lodge going into Stirling and around the near by tourist towns. Best to have a car to site see all the the trossachs national park has to offer.
