Lodge is based in such a magical part of Scotland inside the Trossachs & Loch Lomond national park with your choice of different lochs and mountains to enjoy right on your door step.
The surrounding area is called the Queen Elizabeth forest park.

The Space
We love the open plan spacious feel of the living space in our lodge plus the unobstructed country side views from all windows and the balcony to front.

Notes
Dyson tower air purifier in lounge for people with allergies. This can be unplugged and taken to any other room also.
The lodge is situated inside a large but peaceful park site which has an elevated landscape to enjoy the surrounding views. No obstructions in front of our lodge just full panoramic countryside views!
Reception, small shop and laundrette are on the site. A gym with sauna and farm shop/café are due for completion by the end of 2026.
An activity adventure company is situated just 5 mins walk on the path from our lodge. You can sign up for many sports here.

The nearest town from the park is 10 mins drive which is the small tourist town of Aberfoyle with a view of Ben Lomond directly central on the main street. Here you will find 4 different cafes & restaurants. Plus lovely gift shops.
Here you will also find David Marshall Lodge which I highly recommend visiting as you will find many walking trails starting from here including a waterfall trail and a nature lookout hide away.

Abseiling, Archery, Climbing, Hill walking, Kayaking and mountain biking all can be signed up for here too.
Plus they have one of the longest tree zip lines in the UK.

Driving out of Aberfoyle further 5 mins along this road you have the beautiful Loch Ard where you will have the choice of activities here also and adventures from kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing.

Drive another 45 mins along this same road to enjoy yet another 2 beautiful Lochs and also reach Loch Lomond in this short time. Stop of at Loch Katrine for a ferry ride and bite to eat or carry on driving to loch Lomond on this same road. Enjoy a ferry ride here, water fall. Shops , cafes and Sea life centre.
You can also hire bikes back in Aberfoyle to cycle around the lochs

Loch Lomond is a 24 min drive where you will find the Lomond shores shopping centre. A sea life centre and mini golf plus go ape centre ( tree climbing) and Boat trips on the loch. More info here

Another tourist town near by would be Calander.

Regular buses leave near by the lodge going into Stirling and around the near by tourist towns. Best to have a car to site see all the the trossachs national park has to offer. Easy small roads woth great views, no getting lost.
