Neighbourhood

Easy access to Edinburgh city centre by bus or car. Day trips to Fife, Glasgow, Stirling, Dundee or east or West Lothian if you want to go further afield are very easy (within 1-1.5 hours by car or train options) Our neighbourhood is residential and quiet with mostly families but some nearby main roads in/out of town are busy. As the zoo is nearby there is very occasionally distant animal noises! (Lions, gibbons mostly).

Getting Around

Corstorphine small town centre with small supermarket, bakery, chemists, bars, coffee shops, restaurants / takeaways is 10-15mins walk. 15-20 mins on bus to city centre from bottom of the hill (5mins walk to bottom of hill appx). Hill is quite steep for Edinburgh but it is possible to get the bus from town effectively to the top and just walk along our (flat/ ish) street if you cannot walk up a steep hill easily.
