General Overview
Our home is about a two hour drive from Chicago yet it feels like you’re in another world . We sit on 4 acres of both wilderness but also manicured grounds . We love to cook in our kitchen but also go into the local beach towns that surround us to grab a glass of wine and dinner . Our screened in porch is our favorite place to eat dinner in the summer and also have coffee and listen to nature . Our area is full of wineries , beaches , hiking and biking trails and sweet towns to grab coffee or shop .
The Space
We have four bedrooms . 1 king sized bed, 2 queens and 2 singles . The kitchen is a chefs dream .. Gas fireplace . There is also a trampoline in the ba kyra’s for the kids ( and sometimes adults !)

The bedrooms are all upstairs in the second floor

We are a very relaxed and informal family .. If you visit here we hope you will feel that and make yourself at home .

There is so much to do . We are just between Saugatuck and South Have both with magnificent beaches . Wineries , hiking , shopping , great food and antique stores . We have a State park beach just across the Street and three blocks up . We are located on Lakeshore Drive . Morning country walks are magnificent in our neighborhood.
Getting to my home
You can fly into Grand Rapids airport . We are a 1 hour drive . If you need a city fix you are welcome to our 1 bedroom
condo in Chicago as well . It is a two hour drive. We can talk about a car exchange if desired.

Staying in Deborah and Steve’s beautiful country home was the perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. The home itself is so lovely and welcoming that it would have been easy to spend every day there amid the peaceful natural setting. However, the many nearby towns with shops, museums, and restaurants provided just the right enticement to explore. Afternoon walks at sunset on the shore of Lake Michigan quickly became our routine. From the very first contact, Deborah was easy to communicate with, and she and Steve were exceptionally attentive hosts. Their appreciation for beautiful surroundings is a natural extension of their generous spirits. -
