Stay Above the City – The Hill, Newcastle!
Welcome to my sun-drenched, newly renovated 2-bedroom apartment on The Hill, one of Newcastle’s most sought-after locations.
Facing north, the apartment is bathed in natural light throughout the day and opens to big sky views over the city. From your private balcony, you can take in the ever-changing light, spot native birds in nearby Arcadia Park, and enjoy the peaceful energy of the leafy surrounds.
Just minutes from Newcastle’s beaches, cafes, galleries, and city centre, this apartment offers the best of both nature and urban life, all in a peaceful, much-loved setting. Wake to the sound of native birds, sip your morning coffee with a view, and enjoy the best of both worlds: easy access to the city centre and just minutes to Newcastle’s famous beaches. Whether you're walking to a gallery, dipping into the ocean, or enjoying dinner in Darby Street, everything is close by.
This is a special spot, perfect for soaking up sunshine, sea air, and the relaxed rhythm of coastal life.

Neighbourhood
My home perches at the top of The Hill, Newcastle and offers day in-day out stunning views of the city. Just a few steps away are the grand King Edward Park, historic Terrace homes, and a string of beautiful beaches including Nobbys, Newcastle, Bar, Dixon, and Merewether — all within walking distance.
In the other direction you can stroll down to the lively cafés and shops of Darby Street where you can start an exploration of the heritage charm of the city. Easy access to trams, trains, and buses means that you can get wherever you need to be from my doorstep!
My home enjoys a peaceful, central, and highly walkable location — perfect for beach lovers, city explorers and anyone who values accessibility and charm.
Getting to my home
International travellers will have a choice of capital city airports to arrive in. From there it is a choice or a well connected road or rail to Newcastle. Once in Newcastle, light rail (tram) runs from the Train Interchange interchange into the city.
Of course travel via taxi or uber is widely available and reliable.
By car it is approximately 2 hours from Sydney via M1; around 5.5 hours from Canberra on the M23 or M1 and about 8 hours from Brisbane via the A1 Pacific Highway).
Then again, Newcastle is a working port and occasionally cruise ships dock here! The port is very close to The Hill--less than 10 minutes by car.
Nearest airport
The nearest airport is Newcastle Airport. Domestic travelers can access Newcastle and The Hill from here (30 minutes by car).
Getting Around
