Our home is filled with light, character, and personal touches that reflect our eclectic style , which is a mix of natural materials, vintage finds, and handmade objects from our travels.
It’s a space designed for family life, creativity, and connection, with cozy corners for reading, open areas for play, and a large table where we gather for meals and conversations.
What makes it truly special is its warm atmosphere and the sense of calm it offers, just a short walk from the sea and surrounded by the quiet beauty of eastern Crete.

Clio
We are a family of four from Sitia, a beautiful seaside town on the island of Crete. I’m Clio, originally from Crete, and my husband João is from Lisbon, Portugal. We have two young children, aged 3 and 6, who are love nature as much as we do.
As a family, we enjoy exploring new places, spending time outdoors, camping and sharing stories. We speak several languages (Greek, Portuguese, English, Spanish), and we love meaningful travel experiences that allow us to connect with local culture.
It’s our first time swapping homes but he have a lot of experience with Couchsurfing and workaway. We’re respectful guests with a lot of traveling experience who will treat your home with care, and we’re really excited to exchange with like-minded families who enjoy slow travel and living.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
