Neighbourhood

Our house is located at the end of cul-de-sac in the Strawberry Vale area of Saanich. Three minute drive to VICTORIA GENERAL HOSPITAL and Eagle Creek Village, which includes Quality Foods, Cascadia Liquor Store, Tim Horton's, Starbucks Coffee, walk-in medical clinic, YMCA/YWCA, and more. Steps away from Rosedale Park (which includes tennis courts), and Knockan Hill Park. Two nice restaurants within a short walking distance: Crooked Goose Smokehouse and Cherry's Breakfast Bistro. Close to Camosun College (Interurban Campus), Pacific Institute for Sports Excellence (PISE), Highland Pacific Golf Course, Colquitz River Trail, and Thetis Lake. Victoria's world-famous Butchart's Gardens is only a 19 minute drive from our house (13.4 kms).

Getting Around

Our house is located with quick, easy access to the Trans-Canada Highway No. 1 which can take you to either downtown Victoria (9 kms south and is approximately an 18 minute drive in light traffic) or north up the island. Three minute walk down a very small hill to city bus stop with direct line to downtown. Victoria - Route 22: Vic General / Hillside Centre BC Transit Stop IDs: 101148 - Holland Ave. at Blue Ridge Rd. to Victoria General Hospital. 101150 - Holland Ave. at Blue Ridge Rd. to Hillside Centre.

Hello fellow travellers! We are a family of three from the west coast (best coast) of Canada in beautiful Victoria, BC. Mieka and I are both professional classical musicians (Mieka plays the viola, I play the trumpet) and we're parents of our 14 year-old son, Marcel. We are all originally from Victoria. Our musical activities allow us to travel during the summer which we love to do. As Superhosts on Airbnb, we have hosted guests in the suite in our house since 2017. Looking forward to seeing what adventures we can find with PLU.
