Neighbourhood
Nestled in one of Laguna’s most historic and sought-after pockets, our neighborhood is defined by its artistic spirit and incredible walkability. It offers a rare blend of quiet, tree-lined streets and charming architecture, all while being just a short, scenic stroll from the sand and the town’s creative heart.
Being here means enjoying a true beach-town atmosphere. You can easily wander down to the water for sunset, explore local art galleries, or catch a show at the intimate community theater, all without needing your car.
Residents here love the laid-back, friendly vibe and the seamless access to nature. Whether you’re heading out for a morning hike in the nearby wilderness park or hopping on the free seasonal trolley to explore further along the coast, everything feels convenient and close. It truly is a peaceful place to call home, perfect for those who want to live like a local in the heart of Laguna’s beauty.
Nearest airport
Airports & Arrival
If you are flying in, there are two main ways to reach us:
John Wayne Airport (SNA): This is by far the easiest and closest option. It’s a quick 20-25 minute drive from the terminal to our front door. It’s a very manageable airport, and grabbing a car or a quick ride from there is usually seamless.
Los Angeles International (LAX): While it’s about an hour to 90 minutes north, this is the best bet for those joining us from abroad or taking a long-haul flight. If you have the time, we always recommend the drive down the coast—it’s a beautiful way to start your California visit.
We’ll be happy to share our favorite local transport tips and the best times to avoid traffic once we’ve confirmed our plans!
Getting Around
Getting Around Like a Local
Exploring our corner of the coast is easy, and honestly, we often find we don't even need our car once we're settled in.
On Foot: Laguna Beach is a wonderfully walkable city. The streets of our neighborhood are lined with trees and character, and you can comfortably stroll to the local shops, galleries, and cafes. It’s the best way to soak in the artistic spirit of the area.
The Coastal Trolley: One of the best perks of living here is the free local trolley. It’s a fantastic way to see the town without worrying about traffic. It runs along the coast and even connects to the neighboring beach towns like Dana Point and Newport. We highly recommend downloading the local tracking app—it makes timing your trips a breeze!
Parking & Driving: If you do choose to drive, there is plenty to see along the coast. We’ll give you the "insider tips" on the best places to park and where to find charging stations for electric vehicles once we’ve finalized our exchange.
With the neighborhood’s pedestrian-friendly vibe and the easy trolley access, getting around is simple and stress-free.
