General Overview
Tewantin is the original settlement in the Noosa area. It is on the Noosa River and is less touristy than Noosa while still being close to everything. Walk to the supermarket, cafes, restaurants, the river, the marina etc. Be woken in the morning by Kookaburras. We are surrounded by 3 National Parks and there is lots of local wildlife. Koala and kangaroos can be sited in Tewantin and the National Parks. Bats, corellas, rosellas etc are common.
The Space
A modern 4 bedroom home with a tropical garden and in ground pool.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, a dressing room and ensuite bathroom.
Bedrooms 2, 3 include built in wardrobes, ceiling fans and carpet. Both these rooms have queen sized beds.
There is a laundry and bathroom with a bath and separate shower and a separate toilet .
The kitchen is open and functional with large fridge space, corner built in pantry, gas cook top, wall oven and dishwasher, island bench and an adjacent dining table and large living area with glass louvre windows . The outlook is a lovely tropical garden and pool. There are 2 x sets of bi-fold doors that open to the covered outdoor spaces x 2 with extra high ceilings and fans x 2 allowing for all year round entertaining . The inground pool is salt chlorinated.

Neighbourhood
Tewantin a relaxed small town with a real community feel next to Noosaville. We are in old Tewantin which has lovely wide streets and lots of parkland.
The Noosa Marina is walking distance or a a 2 minute drive, as is Poinciana Ave the Main Street in Tewantin where you will find Woolworths, cafes and restaurants, boutique shopping etc. Noosa Marina and some resident pelicans.
Hastings St and Noosa’s Main Beach are a 15 minute drive or there are buses.
We are close to the Noosa River (5 minute walk) and the local wildlife includes kangaroos and the occassional koala .
We love the cafes and walks along the Noosa River.
Eumundi Markets (every Wednesday and Sunday) are 10 minutes by car and Noosa Farmers Market (every Sunday) are 7 minutes.
There are lots of great walks and bike trails nearby.
Getting to my home
The closest airport is Sunshine Coast (MCY) is .30 minutes and Brisbane Airport is 1.5 hours by car.
It is possible to manage without a car but most people hire one.

We are walking distance to shops buses and transport. Most people will however hire a car.
