Our house has 4 bedrooms and a very large sunny living room, with a very quiet garden.
We live in a small town with shops and lots of vineyards, only 30min. from Bordeaux and 45min. from the ocean.
The Space
We live in a bright house, in a quiet street in a town of 10,000 inhabitants.
On the ground floor there is a beautiful living room, with a sofa and two armchairs. We like to read and watch movies there.
The dining room is an extension of an open kitchen. This beautiful living space opens onto a large south-facing terrace. Without vis-à-vis, the terrace is sunny and the children will be able to enjoy the garden.
On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom, with a shower
Upstairs there are three bedrooms: two bedrooms with a double bed and a bedroom with a mezzanine bed for children. The bathroom includes a bathtub and toilet.
The house is perfect for 6 or 7 people. If necessary, it is possible to add an extra bed, sofa bed type in the office. Don't hesitate to discuss it with us!
We can also lend a car, it's a hybrid Toyota Yaris (5 seats).

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is suburban and very quiet. The house is 10 minutes from the village: bakeries, cheesemonger, butcher, chocolate maker and wine merchants are very welcoming. On Saturday mornings, there is a very busy market near the church.
Many visits are nearby: walks in the forest near the house, lakes 30 minutes away, ocean 1 hour, Saint-Emilion 45 minutes away and of course Bordeaux 20-30 minutes away. We will leave you all the information you need to visit the region! Especially with children: we have several fun and amusing ideas.
The sights are within driving distance from our house.
You will be able to criss-cross the region, visit the vineyards and castles.
Getting to my home
You can come by plane (Bordeaux airport), by train (tgv from Paris, 2 hours) or by car (motorway 10 minutes from the house). There are a few buses to get to the house, but it's not the easiest.
You will need a car to come to us: that's why we also offer you a Toyota Hybrid. You will be able to visit the various tourist sites and go to the tramway to easily get to the center of Bordeaux.

We are 4 in the family: Emeric is a salesman for scientific research laboratories, plays tennis and runs trails; Elise is a bookseller, she reads, eats chocolate and sometimes eats chocolate and reads; Gaëtane is 16 and loves movies and music ; Titouan is 12 and plays basketball, loves manga and drawing (and inventing games we don't understand).
We've already done 4 simultaneous exchanges. And we're looking for our next swap, in Europe, for August 2025.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
