General Overview
We happen to live on the best street in the best neighborhood in Salt Lake City! (Only a little biased.)
The Space
Our home is a private retreat; within minutes of numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and parks but when you enter the property you feel like you stepped out of the city and into the forest. The mature trees surrounding our home give lots of privacy and make it easy to relax after a long day of exploring all Salt Lake has to offer! Though the home itself is beautiful, it's the outdoor space that really shines and you will probably want to spend more time outside than inside! This is our family home, and as such has many amenities that those with young children will find extra appealing. A large play-room, bunk beds, hammock, slackline, circular swing, mud kitchen, climbing dome, nature trail, shallow, recirculating stream, hot tub, fire pit, fruit trees, and more.
On the bottom floor you will find; a large great room with lounge/tv area with fireplace, dining area, and kitchen, a big mud room with a treadmill and Tonal workout machine, bathroom with shower, and a large playroom with lots of kids toys.
All 4 bedroom are located upstairs. The master bedroom with a fireplace and king sized bed plus attached full bathroom with steam room and laundry machines. There is a second master with a queen bed with attached bathroom and shower. The third bedroom has twin sized bunk beds and a toddler bed, and the fourth bedroom has a queen size couch bed (pillow top mattress pad-very comfy). There is also another bathroom upstairs with a bathtub and shower as well. Portable crib available upon request.
Outside amenities include- lawns, gardens, kids climbing dome, large pirate ship play structure, walking path, seasonal stream (fun for kids to play in), decks, hot tub, sauna, outdoor dining area under wisteria covered pergola, gas firepit, veggie garden, covered area with hammock, swing, and kids climbing toys.
For those needing wheelchair accessibility, all but one room in the home is fully wheelchair accessible via an elevator. Let us know if you will be needing the elevator before arriving so we can make sure it is turned on.
Guest Access
There are two floors, with one set of stairs to access the bedrooms. Aside from one of the rooms, the rest of the house is completely wheelchair accessible via an elevator. There is one room upstairs that will function for us as a storage space, a small space downstairs that will be locked and garage will be unavailable. All other areas guests will have access to.
Notes
We feel lucky to have been adopted by a friendly neighborhood cat, Loki! He has an automatic feeder in the garage and sometimes naps in the house. You are not obligated to let him in the house during your stay, but if you feel like it he would reward you with cuddles!
Some pictures may not reflect the most current state of the house. I try to keep the pictures up to date but it is possible that some furnishings may be switched out, specific toys may be missing, etc.

Neighbourhood
Situated on a large lot on one of the most coveted streets in Salt Lake City is this family retreat. Nestled among many mature evergreens and deciduous trees, you will feel truly isolated while being only 10 minutes from downtown Salt Lake, 15 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from Park City, and minutes from several canyons with world class hiking.
Getting to my home
It is best to plan to get to the home by car, as the public transport is very time consuming and unreliable.
Nearest airport
Our home is a 15 minute drive from SLC International Airport.
Getting Around
There are a few shops, restaurants, and playgrounds that are in easy walking and biking distance. However, it is best in this part of the country to have a car.

Jessi & Lewis were so gracious to host us and our extended family in their beautiful home! Exceptionally clean, organized & free from clutter, the home has amazing features such as the huge master bedroom, double master shower, large modern kitchen for entertaining and the cherry on top is the back yard with relaxing garden/entertaining areas & a pirate ship climbing structure for the kids. The home is close to downtown SLC and world class ski resorts. What a treat for us to stay here & we're hoping to be back next year!
Thank you Jessi & Lewis.

Jennifer was an absolutely wonderful guest and I am so happy that we got to meet up during her stay! Jennifer and her husband, John, were absolutely delightful to talk to. I feel like we could have talked for hours more! They took amazing care of our home and were incredibly respectful, kind, and clean. We already are talking about our next swap! I would heartily recommend Jennifer as a guest to anyone looking for a swap!
