Incredible location, Incredible home, Incredible Host's... In short, Incredible. It was our first trip to Amsterdam, only two nights, but we explored every street and really immersed ourselves in everything. Michiel & Daphne's home was very neat, tidy, clean and they were great to communicate with. They left a cute basket of goodies and were very thoughtful hosts. Their home guide was very handy and in-depth and we appreciated them putting it together. Not forgetting their wonderful cat, Robbie, who kept us company and was very chatty! Thank you so much for this opportunity and we can not wait to visit Amsterdam again.

Michiel and Daphne have a beautiful home in the heart of Amsterdam. We parked the car and got around on foot or with public transportation our entire stay! They were so kind leaving a few treats and snacks for us, and their apartment had everything you might need. Our kids especially loved getting to have a pet for the weekend <3 Thank you Michiel & Daphne & boys for sharing your home with us!

Daphné and Michiels flat was so wonderful : in a really Nice area to leave in and as a start to discover Amsterdam. The appartement is very confortable, plenty of light and the best of it : Robbie the cat who welcomes you, who is with you if you want to or let you alone if you don’t want to ! The communication before coming and then was Lovely, with good tips to enjoy Even better the city. And top of top, a rescue basket to our arrival with lot of good products to eat and drink. So what we can say is : we Will come back several Times if we can as the week end was amazing 😁

Daphne and Michiels home in central Amsterdam was a joy to stay in. I simply loved the comfort and layout of this lovely home, everything you need, to have a comfortable stay in their home is at your fingertips. Apart from the very comfortable warm and spacious accommodation, the highlight for me was the unconditional cuddles of dear Robbie, the most affectionate and lovely ginger cat, who kept me great company and was absolutely no trouble whatsoever. He has such a gentle nature and gets very excited when you return home. There is public transport aplenty, however I have to admit I did not use the public transport as I was enjoying walking to all of the different places I was interested in visiting. There is so much to do in Amsterdam and you will not go wrong with Daphne, Michiel and their two lovely sons, they are so helpful and informative in relation to every element of your stay whether its details about their home or tourist info or public transport. You will be spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants, coffees and delicious pastries all around the locality where the apartment is located. I spent a week in this lovely home and simply had the best break ever, I felt totally rested on my return home. I hope they will let me come back! The only unfortunate element to this great trip was not getting to spend time with this great family because flights and travelling times were not compatible with this, but I hope we can visit again into the future. Thank you so much Daphne and Michiel for such a warm welcome and lovely stay in Holland. I had a great time!

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed Michiel and Daphne, their beautiful home and the sweetest cat ever! They were super-responsible about communicating quickly and proactively and dealing with any questions. The apartment is perfect. The location couldn’t be better - near the canal ring and transportation but not on a noisy street. Markets, cafes, stores and restaurants are all within an easy walk. This was our best exchage stay ever!

We had a wonderful stay at Michiel and Daphne’s apartment! It was so central to everything that we wanted to do an see in Amsterdam. It was an easy walk from the central train station to their apartment- which is lovely! It is so bright and airy. The beds were really comfortable and Robbie the house cat kept us company in the evenings! Literally everything is within a short walk from the apartment-its the perfect place to enjoy city life with the peace and quite of a tastefully decorated living space! Michiel was great for keeping in contact with advice before and during our trip- all very much appreciated! I would highly recommend a stay! Thanks again for a memorable trip!

We had an amazing time at Michiel and Daphne's home. Perfect location, near everything with fun stores and great restaurants nearby. The street was quiet as well even though we were in the heart of Amsterdam. The highlight was their cat, Robbie. We spent four fun-filled days with Robbie, who welcomed us as soon as we entered the home. The apartment is really awesome. The decor is modern and nicely decorated, everything is clean, easy to find and comfy. We particularly liked the living room that was super well set up to relax and hang out. The kitchen is well-equipped and the appliances modern and easy to use. The bedrooms are all comfortable and roomy. Michiel and Daphne also were kind enough to leave us some treats upon our arrival. We enjoyed the stroopwaffels, crackers and chocolates! A really nice touch. Overall, highly recommend a stay at Michiel and Daphne's.

Michiel and Daphne and their two boys have a lovely home just steps from the canals in the Jordaan neighborhood of Amsterdam. Close to the center but away from the crowds, it is a lovely area full of restaurants and small shops, a 20 minute walk from the Central Station. but a world away in temperament. Their typical-style home is very comfortable with two bedrooms, a bath and an outdoor patio on one level and their living room, kitchen (modern with instant boiling water-- a delight for this tea drinker!)--and dining area on the upper floor (the staircase is steep so if you have mobility issues be aware). They thoughtfully left a vase full of gorgeous tulips on the table (they knew I was coming to see tulips especially) and a tin of stroopwafels, which I unsuccessfully tried to resist daily. And last, but not least, let me mention their handsome sweet cat. I have never met a gentler feline who required only some food and some attention when I was in the home. I highly recommend an exchange with this wonderful family without hesitation. They are great communicators and have a comfortable home in a wonderful neighborhood.
