Be surrounded by nature in this subtropical paradise, close to the beach, national parks and the Gold Coast airport.

The Space

This self-contained, one-bedroom apartment has a private entrance and it's own deck overlooking the garden. The bed is a luxurious king, which feels like sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen has everything you need to self-cater and the lounge has a smart TV and a desk if you need to work.

Guest Access

There are four steps to the door. Once inside everything is on one level.

Notes

No dogs or cats are allowed within the Ecovillage to protect the wildlife. We have a 'farm' car that you can borrow (it's a 20 year old Toyota that has nearly 500,000 km on the clock - the sort of car that we don't care what happens to it). It's perfect for going to the beach or to access local sites. Not so great for long trips as it's not very economical with fuel.

Neighbourhood

We are situated in an ecovillage in the beautiful sub-tropical Currumbin Valley. It's 7 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to the Gold Coast airport. There are lovely walks nearby and the Currumbin Rockpools and Cougal Cascades are further down the valley. There's abundant wildlife, with over 200 kangaroos onsite, nearly 200 species of birds and a platypus living under the bridge.

Getting to my home

We are 15 mins drive from the Gold Coast airport or 1.5 hours train ride from the Brisbane airport. A car is advisable as there's no public transport within walking distance. You can ride a bike to the beach - we have 3 bikes you can borrow.

Nearest airport

Gold Coast (OOL) - 15 mins drive or uber.

Getting Around

The Pines shopping centre in Elanora is the closest large shopping centre. There's an organic grocer and a very nice cafe within walking distance. A small supermarket is 5 mins drive away.
