General Overview

Our home is a 'modern farmhouse' style house within an ecovillage in the beautiful Currumbin Valley, Queensland. It's surrounded by sub-tropical lushness and is a passive-solar, low energy house. Many bird species visit and wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, goannas and bandicoots are frequently seens in the garden and Currumbin beach is less than 10 min drive. You'll never want to leave the large outdoor stone bath! The house is divided into two self-contained areas, so would be ideal for two couples travelling together. Both have their own entrance, kitchen, bathroom etc.

Getting to my home

If travelling from Brisbane, catch the Varsity Lakes train line to Varsity Lakes (end of the line). You'll then need to get an Uber to the house. If flying - fly to the Gold Coast airport and get an Uber to the ecovillage.

Gold Coast (OOL) airport is 15 minutes away

Getting Around

There is a small organic grocer within the Ecovillage, but you will need a car to travel outside the ecovillage.
