General Overview
This place has a vibe and has become a very popular holiday spot.
In walking distance to biggest mall in SSC on the river mouth and 7 min easy strolling to beach and river mouth.
Ours is new building with lovely heated pools, spa , with a sauna and gym and barbecue area.
The Space
Beautiful views from our 5 th floor apartment looking down on park on verge of Maroochy river. The apartment is very sheltered against wind and the balcony can be used almost always.
The rooms has good storage space in cupboards., and beds are comfortable.
Guest Access
The lift will take you straight to the apartment with your special key . There is rubbish shoot and room for recycling next to the lift and you look down to the pool from front entrance of our apartment and also has a view over new city which a 5 min walk ftom us.
Notes
T here are a pool and sauna in South building which is st your disposal if the pool in North building is crowded.

Neighbourhood
The neighbour is busy at daytime during school holidays , but night time it is peaceful and quiet and safe.
Check out the beautiful walks in Botanical Gardens Buderim
Bush walks and climbing Mt Coolum and all the little beaches up along the coast.
It’s very popular with cyclists and there is a cycle and walking track from Caloundra along the coast to Noosa.
Busses are regular and you can visit a new beach everyday for 5 days. Eumundi markets on Wednesday Friday and Saturdays is excellent to visit and try local foods.
There is a lovely fresh fish shop known for it’s good products caught locally.
Sea world and Big pine apple where well kept Australian animals can be visited!
Australia Zoo is a favourite of mine with animals so healthy and in very natural surroundings, where you can attend shows with wild birds and crocodiles!
Getting to my home
We are 15 min drive by taxi from Maroochydore airport, while there is a good shuttle service from Brisbane airport which will drop you off right in front of the building.
Water sport equipment and lessons easily available.
Paddle crafts available at the mall to explore the Maroochy river area.

Getting Around
Easy strolling 5-min to nearest food stores and Biggest shopping mall in the Sunshine Coast.
Buses are running frequently and taxi services are good and not overly expensive.
Rental cars available at airport or near us.
If you want to explore it’s a good idea to rent and parking is available under cover in our building

In 25 years of home exchanges we have met several people who genuinely wish their guests the best and clearly try to make the stay special, fun and enjoyable. Anna is such a person, her good intentions and efforts shine. We are very grateful for our stay in her place. Now combine that with a new, deluxe comfortable unit with spectacular views from a large, beautiful balcony, and this is very very special. -
We had a wonderful stay at Anna & Willems place in Maroochydore. The two bedroom two bathroom apartment was modern, spacious, clean and sunny. I loved waking up to beautiful water view every morning and having breakfast on their balcony. The kitchen, dining, lounge area is open plan with all the appliances needed if you want to cook, including a BBQ but there are many eateries close by and a large shopping mall within a 10 min walk. They have free parking but with frequent cheap buses we would catch these to explore areas. The apartment complex is in two towers so not too high and each area has a tepid outdoor pool, gym and one has a sauna. Anna was very helpful with ideas and she always got back to me quickly if I had any questions. I would highly recommend Anna & Willems place and we were very sad to leave it. -

We had the privilege of staying in Anna and Willem's gorgeous apartment in Maroochydore for several nights, and couldn't have hoped for a better experience. The apartment is very modern, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. Plus the view and location are outstanding! It was the perfect home base to explore the Sunshine Coast. Anna and Willem are very kind and thoughtful hosts, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend exchanging with them if you get the opportunity to do so. -
Anna's home and apartment is so well equipped and is in a terrific location. Highly recommended for the perfect Queensland Sunshine Coast adventure. Anna is a delight to connect with and extremely supportive with fast and helpful communication. -
We had the most wonderful week at Anna and Willems gorgeous apartment. The views were everchanging with the tides and we loved sitting on their deck with our friends enjoying a coffee and watching the the world go by. The apartment had everything we could need to make the holiday very special. We joined the RSL Club across the road and had a couple of dinners there. We hired a car for the week but really hardly used it as the mall with all its shops was within walking distance. Thank you again for letting us use your holiday home and would love to return one day. -
I needed accommodation on short notice and Katherine was by go to lady and she was wonderful! Efficient and so quick to respond! I just recommend her home which is well equiped, well situated with the most beautiful views over the lake and very close to all the necessary shops. Her instructions were easy to follow and I could highly recommend a stay at Katherine’s Thanks for letting my family stay for one night with us and apologies for short notice . I was stressed and under pressure and you were kind and helpful! Thanks for you care and guidance it being our first exchange❤️

Donna and Carl , the most kind, caring and generous couple I ever come across ! They left our place in mint condition even better than it was! They went out of their way to fix our car which was not their responsibility! They are just hands on and positive people! A Big Thank You for the Very Special bottle of Tasmania BUBBLY!!! We need more people like them! Can’t wait to stay in their abode in Tassie! Better even to meet them face to face and trying to care for their homes as they did for ours❤️ A big thank you again.
