Other services include a library and arts studios complex, a church, community centre and day care centre. The town hosts an annual Agricultural Show in August each year, famously know as the Cappamore show where people from all over Ireland travel for the event.

Getting to my home

We live outside the village of Cappamore so a car is probably the best way to get to the house as we are just under 3km from the village so a bit to a walk if you have luggage. Cappamore is served by two Bus Éireann routes: the 332 - travelling westwards to Limerick City via Murroe, Newport and eastwards to Cashel which operates six times daily, Monday to Sunday, in both directions; and the 341 to Shannon also via Murroe, Newport and Limerick City which operates once daily, Monday to Friday. Limerick Junction train station is located 20 kilometres from Cappamore and has Iarnród Éireann services to Dublin, Cork, Kerry and Waterford. Limerick train station is 23 kilometres away with services to Dublin and Galway..

Nearest airport

The nearest airport is Shannon, located 50 kilometres away with services to the UK, mainland Europe and North America Ireland also has Dublin, Cork and knock airport that we use ourselves for trips that are not serviced by Shannon Airport.

Getting around

The local village is 2.7km so a car is the best way to get around.
