The apartment is located in the heart of Kilkee, a minutes stroll to the beautiful horseshoe beach of Kilkee. There are an abundance of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants all located just a stroll away. It’s an ideal location for touring the The Loophead Peninsula, a European destination of excellence. Just a short drive away is Loophead lighthouse, church of the little ark in Kilbaha and the beautiful bridges of Ross which is absolutely stunning. The cliffs of mother and the Burren with its significant geology, natural history and archeology are a short drive away. Kilkee is known for having a safe blue flag beach status and is widely known for its famous pollock holes which are natural swimming pools are low tide. The breathtaking cliffs walks are suitable all year round. The location is perfectly suited for day trips to the scenic areas of Galway to the north and Kerry to the south as well as the historic Limerick city and Bunratty Castle to the East.

Getting around
Walking to local beach, shops, restaurants, pubs, off licence, coffee houses and local swimming pool. Kilrush is only 13km drive and has a large Tesco and Aldi supermarket for a bigger grocery shop if needed, Kilrush also has lots of other shopping in the town.

Family of 5 (mostly travelling as family of 4. Children ages 12, 14 and 23. Travel for us has to be Irish school holidays so plenty of dates available and if staying in our home in limerick we are again fixed to Irish school holidays but we have lots of flexibility for dates in Kilkee.
