This has been our family home for the last 8 years. We have raised up our five children here and made wonderful memories in the yard, in the pool and in the beautiful area we live.
I love to decorate in a warm and inviting manner, always mixing new & old pieces in a very liveable way.
I don't have photos of every room yet but if you're interested please message me, I do have some walkthrough videos!
The space
It's not a huge home but it's plenty spacious for us!
Open living/dining/kitchen space
Main floor laundry in mudroom
Bedroom 1 (main floor) - twin bed
Bedroom 2 (main floor) - 2 twin beds
Bedroom 3 (main floor) - 2 twin beds
Full 4 piece bathroom (main floor)
Bedroom 4 (upstairs) - queen bed
3 piece bathroom (upstairs)
Lounge room (upstairs)
Tv/rec room (basement)
Guest access
There are stairs down to the basement, a flight of stairs up to the second level and a step down into the mudroom
Notes
We have a hot tub (it's very big and the lid can be heavy but it's lovely)
You're welcome to use the saltwater pool
The upper floor (attic turned studio apartment) is a lovely space with kitchenette in the bedroom, 3 piece bathroom and a lounge room with its own deck on the side yard. This is a separate listing here on PLU (29630) that we also have listed for rental. In the case that we are swapping the home with another family we will include this level to give you more space and a larger master bedroom.

Neighbourhood
I often refer to our small sleepy town as 'Canaan'. If you know your Bible, it's 'the land of plenty'.
Here's a quick overview:
🍇 surrounded by vineyards (pack a picnic for a romantic date night)
🍷 wineries (so many in fact that there is a walking winery tour from our home and countless in the area within driving distance)
🍺 craft breweries and distilleries
🥞 nearby maple syrup farms (The Sugar Bush Trek (March-April), Discover Maple (May-October))
🌸 orchards laden with flowers in spring and 🍑🍒🍐 fruit in the summer
🌽 fields full of crops
🐄 animals grazing in pastures (random but it always makes me so happy!)
🌻 sunflower fields and lavender farms
👩🌾 market stands throughout the region with fresh produce, farm fresh eggs and more
🪴 a very unique garden centre that is a tourist attraction in Ontario for its scale and beauty (Watering Can)
🌊 nearby Lake Ontario beaches are well maintained and pet friendly
🚶walking distance to the Bruce Trail, a 900+km walking trail that stretches across the Niagara Escarpment
⛲ also in walking distance, Balls Falls. Hamilton (20 min drive) is the waterfall capital of the world! Of course none of them can beat Niagara Falls (25 min drive).
🚴🏻 we are on a main route for cyclists and many of the local roads have recently been improved with specialized asphalt
🍂 come for the stunning fall colours and enjoy the local Fall Art Fest in October
Nearest airport
Toronto (YYZ)
Hamilton (YHM)
Getting around
Depending on how you like to travel you could do a few things:
1. Uber here and walk/bike to many of the local wineries, the garden centre, a few restaurants, nearby brewery, etc quite easily. You can always Uber to a few farther destinations as well.
2. Rent a car via traditional companies or try Turo, which is like AirBnb but for cars (we've used it ourselves and recommend it).

Love to sit on the porch with a morning cup of tea
Side entrance to the backyard by the pool
Newly installed saltwater pool, fully fenced in (with self closing gates and locks to keep children safe)
Loungers for sunbathing
Property is completely fenced in for privacy and safety of little children
Pool gates are self closing and we provide padlocks for childrens safety
The kiddos love a night swim with the lights on (and we enjoy it too!)
There is a shed in the backyard with bikes for your use
Spend some quality family time with a bonfire at night. Roast marshmallows for S'mores, catch the fireflies in jars and make wonderful memories!
S'mores!
This is an older photo but you can see the hot tub built in to the covered deck in the background here
Fridge/freezer, double sink (dishwasher beside sink), wall oven and microwave
Convection stovetop
The attic has been redone to create a soothing sanctuary. White painted wood floors and white walls make a serene setting
Watch tv from the queen size beds made up with lovely linens. It's light and bright thanks to the skylight.
Cute little kitchenette - keep your snacks & wine chilled away from the kids, perfect to make a quiet cup of coffee or tea in the mornings!
This is the attic shower. It's small but it does the job!
Attic bath (3 pc)

This is the attic lounge room, across from the bedroom. This spot is great to read a book (such a comfy couch) and a great spot to get ready/do makeup while others use the bathroom.
The lounge room has french doors that open onto a small deck, a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine in the trees!
A little patio set to enjoy
Sitting up in the trees
Many visitors come to our region each spring to enjoy the beautiful sights and scents of the local orchards in bloom
Vineayards are everywhere here - both in our backyard and across the road, as well as anywhere else you drive in town!
A map of our local vineyards, the heart indicates our location
A must-visit at least once in your lifetime, Niagara Falls!
Every summer there are sunflower fields popping up in various farmers fields as they rotate their crops. Always a beautiful sight to behold!
My kiddos at a local sunflower patch years ago
The Falls themselves are stunning but there are many ways to view them and enjoy them. The Maid of the Mist takes you down below to feel the full power of the Falls, there are also ziplines above the Falls and a tour behind the Falls.
Niagara does the Falls - and the fall - beautifully! The colours are spectacular each year!
