General overview
Our house is the old small mansion in the neighborhood. It is a little haven of peace, which resembles a pretty country house in the city, due to its privileged and very private location at the bottom of a private pedestrian cul-de-sac. It has a lot of charm with a sophisticated and warm personal decor (it's one of my passions) which gives a real soul to this pretty house.
It is very comfortable, with a large part on the ground floor which brings together the office space, the kitchen, the living room with a fireplace and the dining room, the large parents' bedroom with a 160 bed and with its large bathroom and a French window overlooking the garden. Moreover, all the rooms on the ground floor overlook the garden which makes the house very bright. Then on the 1st floor, you find 2 bedrooms. One with a 140 double bed and the other with a 140 bed also. On the 2nd floor, a large bathroom with shower and bathtub and a large bedroom with a bed for 2 people of 160 and 2 mattresses for 1 person as an extra bed if necessary.
We also have a beautiful garden with trees and a small covered living room to enjoy it all year round.
We are still planning some work to bring the whole house to our liking but we are doing things little by little. We also have an apartment in Paris of 50m° in a very pleasant area close to Montmartre, 10 minutes walk from Sacre Coeur, a must-see in Paris. The apartment is very well equipped with 2 bedrooms on the courtyard side in a beautiful building. It can also be added to the exchange if it is available at this time. (Two of our student children live there for their studies).

Our house is on 2 levels with a staircase. All the living rooms are on the ground floor and overlook the garden but there is still a step to enter.
Notes
Our house is at the bottom of a completely hidden private cul-de-sac, it gives the impression of being a country house in the middle of the city with a pretty secret garden... It's always a nice surprise when you open it. the wooden door.
In addition, we are set back from traffic so the garden is very quiet. We hear the little birds...

Neighbourhood
Our house is located in a very quiet and residential area of Lille, close to the Lille Europe train station. The metro is at the end of the street, 3 minutes on foot and you are then in 5 minutes in the center of Lille. The line is direct and serves both stations. The train station is a 15-minute walk away and the center is a 20-minute walk away.
You also have all the shops at the end of the street 200m away.
You are therefore close to all the places of interest in this beautiful city of Lille: old Lille and its old streets with ancient architecture, museums, shops, restaurants...
You are also close to the main roads, in particular to easily go to very close Belgium to discover its beautiful cities like Bruges and Ghent (45 minutes) or even Brussels (30 minutes by train) or Antwerp.
The Netherlands and Germany are only 2 hours away, Paris 1 hour by TGV, and London also 1 hour 30 minutes by TGV.
We also have an apartment in Paris which can be made available to you.
Nearest airport
the closest airport is Lille-Lesquin, but we are also close to Brussels with regular shuttles and Paris by train with its airport is very easily accessible.

This house is full of charm and you will appreciate its tranquility and its private side while being very close to all the attractions of our beautiful city of Lille. We have been talking for many years and we will be happy to welcome you as friends to our cozy little nest.
