General overview

We have a beautifully situated plot of 3 hectares. The name of this place is Osada Jelonki Wielka Puszcza (lets translate as "The Deer Settlement in the Greate Forest:)) It offers a view of the surrounding mountains. Porąbka is a village famous for its very healthy air, we also have healthy water from a forest spring. A nice addition to a stay in our house or summer cottages is a large playroom, a space with a fireplace, a kitchen and lots of toys for children, as well as yoga mats and aerial yoga hammocks, which children use to play and adults use to relax and meditate.

The space

What's cool about Osada Jelonki? - A spacious playroom with fireplace, kitchen, place to spend time, with many beautiful toys and swinging scarves that children and parents love - Playground with a mud kitchen in a large sandbox, playhouses with a slide, a large trampoline and swings - Organic eggs and rye bread from the hosts, goat cheese, vinegar and more - Organic coffee as much as you want (filament coffee machines in the houses, automatic coffee machine in the living room) - Goats, sheep, chickens, cats and 3 friendly poodles - Location in the heart of the forest guaranteeing beautiful views of the mountains and full enjoyment the whole year. Fully equipped kitchen in each house and in the playroom. There is also a big grill (our neighbors have a fish farm which we highly recommend) Some mountain peaks in the area: From Przegibek Pass (15 km from Osada): *Gaiki (969 m above sea level) *Magurka (1109 m above sea level) - a nice shelter and a place to make a bonfire at the top *Kocierz Rychwałdzki (921 m above sea level) is located 10 km from Osada and you can get there by car, but it is worth climbing the trail to the top. You will find cool attractions there: playground, rope park, swimming pool and sauna in the hotel, living room in Inn with delicious food! * Żar Mountain (761 m above sea level) - you can take a cable car, you can walk, and at the top you can paraglide and there is also a rope park! (If you prefer higher mountains, we are located about a 2-hour drive from the Tatra Mountains in Poland, but also close to the Czech Republic). Examples of attractions within 30 km of Osada Jelonki: - "Energylandia" - one of the best amusement parks in Europe - INWAŁD, including 5 theme parks! - Waterfalls in Porąbka, 2 lakes and a very nice swimmingpool at the top of the mountain - Enduro bike routes (a lot of them in our area) and many ski slopes during winter - A lot of interesting options in Szczyrk, Wisła, Ustroń ( those are nice, touristic places around 40 min drive) and Cracow (1,5 hour)

Guest access

Each house has a living room with a kitchen and a bathroom downstairs, and 2 bedrooms upstairs. One has a double bed, the other two separate beds. The entire plot is located on a mountain slope, so it is sloping, it is a good training for the legs :)

Notes

We are looking for a place in a warm country from January 17 to early March. Every year during this period we go for up to 4 weeks to places with water, beaches and a bit of exoticism. This year we also want to go for a period of 2-3 weeks from August 10. Since it is also warm in Europe then, we are open to European countries. Moreover, we are willing to go on shorter trips (usually from Thursday to Monday) all year round. We are also considering a trip around Christmas. IN THE WINTER SEASON, WE WILL BE HAPPY TO OFFER A STAY IN OUR 3-STOREY HOUSE, WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE AREA OF OUR AGROTOURISM. SO YOU CAN USE EVERYTHING WE DESCRIBE, BUT YOU WILL BE MORE COMFORTABLE LIVING IN OUR HOUSE AND IT WILL BE CLOSE TO THE SAUNA :) (photos of the house will appear soon)

Neighbourhood

We have 2 neighbors who live quite close, and a short walk through the forest. Their presence is not felt because our plot is large, surrounded by a fence and trees. Closest neighbors (parents with children) live quite close to the summer houses.

Getting to my home

You can reach us by landing at the airport in Katowice or Krakow. Of course, there is also, for example, the airport in Warsaw, which offers more connections. From each of these cities you can take a train to Bielsko-Biała, which is 20 km from us. If you land in Krakow or Katowice, we can pick you up at the airport. We can also lend you one of our cars so that you can get around the area without any problems.

Getting around

In the village of Porąbka there is a very well-equipped shop. There is a Lidl 20 minutes away from us. In addition, there is a market on Saturdays where you can buy a lot of local, good quality products from farmers. We also know privately people from whom you can buy vegetables, fruit, fish, meat, we have our own eggs, and when we are there, we bake rye bread.

Hello! We ara a family from Poland: Anna, Piotr, Kamil (10) and Emilia (7)... 3 dogs- poodles- Cesar, Lisa, Gustav, also few cats, goats, sheep, chickens.. :) Big family! We travel around the world and decided to try a home exchange trips:) In autumn, spring and summer we offer you our summer houses. However, during winter, when our children have their winter holidays, we go for a month to warm countries and then we offer our beautiful, large house in the heart of the forest, with a view of the mountains and a great sauna.
