General overview
Our beautiful home is located on one of the most desirable streets in historic Doylestown, a short walk to restaurants, shops and cafes.
This home is our primary residence and is a chandelier in every room, stained glass, chinoiserie painting, original wood floors type of place.
Our home is meticulously maintained and has beautiful rugs, furnishings and original art throughout. For this reason it may not be a good fit for families with young children.
The space
Four bedrooms , two with king size beds, and two with queen size beds. All bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms.
Large light and bright formal living room.
The family room is cozy and comfortable with a recliner chair and gas fireplace.
The main dining table seats 8 and the sunroom diing table seats 4.
Enjoy the backyard patio (please be respectful of our neighbors) or relax on the front porch and watch the world go by.
Guest access
We have four bedrooms. One bedroom (with ensuite bathroom) is on the main floor and the three other bedrooms and baths are up a flight of stairs.
Notes
We have a carriage house on the other end of the garden. It is possible that our pet sitter may stay there during your stay. You likely wont see much of them unless you need something!
Our home is large, a lot to clean and the cost of cleaners is relatively high. Our amazing cleaner Lana does a great job and is willing to wash and change sheets when needed. She charges $140. We prefer that guests pay Lana this rather than attempt to clean the house themselves.
It can get both really hot and really cold on the East Coast USA depending on the time of year. We kindly request that temperatures are left reasonable (above 70 in summer and below 71 in winter please).

Welcome to Doylestown! If you haven’t heard of this wonderful small town in northeast USA, then you should have! Doylestown is located in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania, between New York City and Philadelphia.
Unusual for towns in the USA, it has a very walkable downtown with numerous restaurants, cafes, an independent cinema, and four museums. Doylestown even has its very own Castle built by one of the eccentric Mercer brothers. I can guarantee you will never have seen anything quite like it!
Doylestown is also just 20 minutes from historic New Hope, Pennsylvania, a hugely popular tourist getaway spot for New Yorkers and home to a variety of celebrities.
Our home is located in the heart of the historic district in Doylestown Borough. Walkable to all the shops and restaurants of the downtown area as well as the direct train into Center City Philadelphia.
Explore the quaint downtown area, lined with unique shops, delightful cafes, a small movie theater and fine dining options or take the train into the heart of Philadelphia for some big city exploring.
Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby Peace Valley Park and Lake Galena, offering scenic trails and nature walks.
We are less than 40 minutes from The King of Prussia Mall - one of the largest shopping malls in the USA and the glorious Longwood Gardens (my happy place) is a little over an hour.
Doylestown was named winner of USA Today's Best Small Town Cultural Scene and regularly features on Best Places to Live lists. It's such a cool and pretty town and we love it!
Getting to my home
We are located between Philadelphia and Newark airports. You can also take a bus from New York City or a direct train from Philadelphia. A car is handy if you want to explore this beautiful area, but if you are happy to stay in town, everything is walkable and you can take the train into Center City Philadelphia.

Getting around
5 minutes walk to the supermarket and restaurants.
10 mins walk to Starbucks and the very center of town.
10 mins walk to the train station with direct train to Philadelphia.
