This is our second home located on Saltspring Island which is a very popular destination. The beauty is that you can enjoy all the offerings of the island but return to your own private haven with spectacular views.
There are two bedrooms ,one overlooking the ocean and the other one faces the garden. The living room and dining area as well as the large covered deck are all at your disposal.
We are stocked with board games, music and books for your relaxation.
A full kitchen and laundry are all at your disposal.
A soothing hot tub facing the ocean is there for your pleasure but be aware that there are many steps down to the water. If you can brave the Northern Salish sea the swimming out to the floating raft is great, expecially in the summer months, July and August and sometimes into September.
There are wineries, cideries, local cheese makers and great restaurants for the foodies.
From May to October the famous Saturday Market features artisans, local produce and entertainment. Not to be missed.
If you like hiking or following paths along the many shorelines this is a dream come true.
Saltspring is thriving with artists and you can find something to see most nights of the week.
The space
A very comfortable house equipped with tv, music, books and art for your enjoyment. We are located about a 10 minute from the town of Ganges so a vehicle is recommended.
The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and each has a bathroom. The outdoor decks are fabulous with views of the ferry boats sailing back and forth and if you are lucky an occasional seal or otter. Eagles perch above your head.
Oh..the queen of the household is Coco, a black cat.
She comes with the house and is independent but you have to replenish her food bowl or she will let you know about it.
Guest access
You are able to drive right up to the house and there are no stairs in the house itself but to access the hot tub and the ocean you must climb many steps down.
Notes
This is a comfortable and cozy spot to relax and soak in the West coast beauty. You can access town with markets, stores and restaurants in a 10 minute drive. We are located 15 minutes from the ferry landing.

Getting to my home
Take a ferry from Vancouver to go to the Long Harbour ferry landing or via Swartz Bay and change to the Fulford ferry which takes you to the South end of the island.
If you are travelling from Vancouver Island then simply take the Crofton ferry for the 25 minute crossing which almost drops you off at our doorstep.
Nearest airport
You can fly via float plane from Vancouver (20 minutes) to Ganges and someone can pick you up but if you dont have a vehicle its is difficult to explore the island.
Getting around
A vehicle is good to have to explore the island
