We have a comfortable, peaceful, and very relaxing home. There is plenty of space to spread out and have fun on our property. This listing is for our very spacious private guest wing. This guest wing is connected to the rest of our home by a hallway; we add a full-length curtain to the hallway to give you added privacy. There is a dining room and full living room, which has private access to our pool, fire pit & outdoor space.
We are a very busy family and are in and out of the home often. We are very accommodating and super friendly. We are able to offer so many more dates and we don't even mind 1 or 2 night stays as we are easily able to move to our open bedroom on the other side of the home. Last minute can work in some cases. Just feel free to reach out, we are happy to chat :) We would like to use this space for non-simultaneous reciprocal stays in areas we are interested in traveling one day. We are happy to bank stays, and your home doesn't have to accommodate our whole family as sometimes different groups of us travel. We are happy to swap hospitality stays, as well. We have test-driven this way of exchanging, and it has worked wonderfully and has been SO enriching for our family. Our kids have even made friends they keep up with who don't speak the same language. We have MUCH more availability this way and are happy to open our hearts and homes to families.
The space

We have a comfortable, peaceful, and very relaxing home. There is plenty of space to spread out and have fun on our property. This listing is for our very spacious private 2 bedroom guest wing. This guest wing is connected to the rest of our home by a hallway; we add a full length curtain to the hallway to give you added privacy. There is a dining room and full living room, which has private access to our pool and outdoor space. We’ve added a mini fridge and Keurig coffee machine (along with syrups/sugar) to our guest wing for convenience. Of course, our full kitchen will be available to you as well, if you’d like. When we have guests, we use our garage entry in order to give our guests privacy and full access to their space through our front door.
The Guest wing includes our Primary Bedroom (King Sized Bed) and Bathroom along with a couch that converts to a twin bed with memory foam mattress topper. Our primary bedroom has an additional portable AC unit (we have full house central AC, of course), because my husband and I like to sleep in frigid conditions while the rest of the family is normal :). It is wonderful and you are welcome to use it if you'd like. It also has a large TV which is so nice for relaxing and watching a show before bed. Our bathroom has a soaking tub, shower and dual sinks. The primary bathroom will be the bathroom for the whole Guest wing.
Our second bedroom in the guest wing has a sofa that converts to a full-size bed. We have a memory foam topper for this bed. Additionally, we have two blow-up mattresses, a pack n play with mattress, and plenty of space to add a couple more people if needed. Both rooms have their own TVs. The 2nd bedroom/ playroom can also be used as a secondary living space for watching TV and playing video games. Our 2nd bedroom/Playroom has board games, craft supplies puzzles, books, Xbox, Nintendo switch and even toys for little ones.
Our kitchen is the only area that will be shared, if you choose to use it (you are welcome to it!). We have two refrigerators so you will have plenty of space to store whatever you'd like. We are foodies and home chefs so our kitchen is fully stocked with any cookware you would want to make a delicious meal, including All Clad top of the line pots and pans. We have an espresso machine, as well as traditional coffee machines (keurig in the guest wing) for coffee enthusiasts. If tea is your thing, you will love our electric kettle :). We will also have shared use of our washer and dryer, if needed. Just let us know if you need to do laundry and we will clear the room :)
While our indoor living space is relaxing and low key, our outdoor space is relaxing and a blast. We have an oversized pool with a 10’ deep end and diving board. We do have a child safety fence we are happy to put up if you have young children. We also have a resort style living space in our backyard (with a soccer goal) that leads to our large fire pit and seating area. In addition, we have a vegetable garden (currently neglected) on the side of our home. We also have fruit trees on the property. Please feel free to eat any fruits or veggies growing in our garden and on our trees. We back up to conservation, so no need to worry about neighbors out back. Out front there is a basketball hoop and plenty of sidewalks to ride bikes or scooters. You will have full access to our property while you are here.

Guest access
You will have private entry through our coded front door. We do not use this entrance when guests/friends stay with us.
Notes
**There are no pets in our home and no pets allowed, due to a severe allergy with one of our kids. We love furry friends, but have to love them from a distance**

Neighbourhood
We live in a comfortable suburban Florida neighborhood. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable, with a fishing pond on one side (we are happy to let you borrow our fishing gear and give you a few tips!). There are areas of conservation, so we are often able to see and enjoy Florida wildlife.
We have grocery stores, organic grocery stores, supercenters, home stores, clothing stores, specialty food stores, craft stores all within 3-4 miles.
There are MANY restaurants nearby. We have chain restaurants, as well as Mom & Pop restaurants all within a few miles. We would love to send recommendations for some local restaurants.
We love to fish and hang out at the beaches. We often fish at Green Key Beach, which is only 8 miles away. The best relaxation, fishing, and white sand beaches are Fred Howard Park (15 miles away) and the most famous is Honeymoon Island State Park (22 miles south). Go visit the Mermaids in Weeki Wachee (23 miles north) for a unique experience.

Disney- less than 2 hours away
Universal- Just over 2 hours away
Venice Beach (The Shark Teeth Capital of the WORLD)- about 1 hr 45 min away

Tampa (Bucs Stadium, Riverwalk, Museums, Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo)- 40 min away
Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks- 25 minutes away
Crystal River to visit the Manatees- 1 hour away

We are an adventurous family of 6. My husband and I are in our mid to late 30's and have been married since 2004, We have four kiddos; two boys, born in 2008 and 2010, along with two girls, born in 2006 and 2011. We are both business owners; I own a transaction coordinating business (real estate admin) and work entirely remotely from anywhere. Brian co-owns a financial planning practice and is also able to work remotely while maintaining his current office in our hometown. We are an active family who loves to experience new cities and new cultures together. All six of us are giant foodies! We love to eat at local restaurants and cook delicious meals from around the world. We are a tidy family and have instilled in our kids the value of leaving places better than we find them.
