General overview
Welcome to our comfortable, peaceful, and super relaxing home! We've got plenty of space for you to spread out and have fun. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, our home comfortably sleeps 11-12 guests, plus we have a portable crib and two blow-up mattresses if you have a couple more people with you.
Our house has multiple cozy living areas for those who need a bit of alone time, along with a large main living space that seats at least 10 around the TV. Our playroom is stocked with board games, puzzles, crafts, art supplies, and even toys for the little ones.
Three rooms have desks for those who need to catch up on work, including a main work area in the guest bedroom with a sitting or standing desk. The primary bedroom features an extra portable AC unit for those who, like us, love sleeping in a super cool room. (Don't worry—the whole house has central AC, too!)
As foodies and home chefs, our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal, including top-of-the-line All-Clad pots and pans. Coffee lovers will appreciate our espresso machine, Keurig, and regular coffee pot, while tea enthusiasts can enjoy our electric kettle.
Our outdoor space is just as inviting as the inside. We have an oversized pool with a 10-foot deep end and diving board, along with a child safety fence if needed. The backyard features a resort-style living space, a large fire pit with seating, and a vegetable garden and fruit trees. Feel free to enjoy any fruits or veggies growing in our garden! Out front, there's a basketball hoop and plenty of sidewalks for biking or scootering. We back up to conservation land, so no neighbors behind us, just peace and privacy.
Here are the sleeping arrangements:
- Primary Bedroom: King bed plus a comfortable futon with a mattress topper. Sleeps 3.
- Bedroom 2 / Playroom: Full-size pull-out sofa. Sleeps 2. We have a foam topper for the sleeper sofa.
- Bedroom 3 / Girls' Room: Full over full bunk bed. Sleeps 2 or 3 comfortably.
- Bedroom 4 / Guest Room: Recently renovated with a comfy pillowtop queen bed. Sleeps 2 (Pack-n-play is in this closet)
- Bedroom 5 / Boys' Room: Two twin beds. Sleeps 2.
We also have a pack-n-play/portable crib available for your use.
Please remember this is our primary home where we live, work, and play. While it's a beautiful, tidy, organized, and comfortable home… it is not perfect. We have a running list of Honey-dos and updates to be completed. Just try battling weeds in a Florida summer, haha. This is our beloved primary home and not a short-term rental, so please bear this in mind when reaching out. :)
Whether you're looking to relax or have a blast, our home is the perfect spot. We love to travel, but we always love coming back to this home. We hope you will too!

*** Just a heads up, we don't have any pets in our home and can't allow them due to a severe allergy one of our kids has. We absolutely love furry friends, but we have to admire them from a distance! ***
When it comes to cleaning, we strongly prefer that our exchange friends leave the home as they found it—completely cleaned. However, if you’d rather not handle the cleaning yourself, you may have the option to pay for a professional cleaning service. I’m currently looking into finding a cleaning crew and their rates, so I’ll keep you updated on the cost. For simultaneous exchanges, we won’t ask for a cleaning fee unless you request one. The choice is entirely yours!

Neighbourhood
We live in a comfortable suburban Florida neighborhood. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable with a fishing pond on one side. There are areas of conservation, so we are often able to see and enjoy Florida wildlife.
We have grocery stores, organic grocery stores, supercenters, home stores, clothing stores, specialty food stores, craft stores all within 3-4 miles.
There are MANY restaurants nearby. We have chain restaurants, as well as Mom & Pop restaurants all within a few miles. We would love to send recommendations for some local restaurants.
We love to fish and hang out at the beaches. We often fish at Green Key Beach, which is only 8 miles away. The best relaxation, fishing, and white sand beaches are Fred Howard Park (15 miles away) and the most famous is Honeymoon Island State Park (22 miles south). Go visit the Mermaids in Weeki Wachee (23 miles north) for a unique experience.

St. Petersburg (one of our favorite FL cities! A MUST VISIT town)- an hour away
Disney- less than 2 hours away
Universal- Just over 2 hours away
Venice Beach (The Shark Teeth Capital of the WORLD)- about 1 hr 45 min away

Tampa (Bucs Stadium, Riverwalk, Museums, Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo)- 40 min away
Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks- 25 minutes away

Orlando International Airport- less than 2 hours

We are an adventurous family of 6. My husband and I are in our late 30's & early 40's and have been married since 2004, We have four kiddos; two boys, born in 2008 and 2010, along with two girls, born in 2006 and 2011. We are both business owners; I own a transaction coordinating business (real estate admin) and work entirely remotely from anywhere. Brian co-owns a financial planning practice and is also able to work remotely while maintaining his current office in our hometown. We are an active family who loves to experience new cities and new cultures together. All six of us are giant foodies! We love to eat at local restaurants and cook delicious meals from around the world. We are a tidy family and have instilled in our kids the value of leaving places better than we find them.
