General overview
We have a 3 bed, 2 bath home just above downtown Evergreen, Colorado, USA. With beautiful mountain views from every window, the deck, the hot tub, and the trampoline, we feel like we’re in our own little world, but can quickly walk down to the creek and to family-friendly breweries, restaurants, and beautiful Evergreen Lake, all in under 15 mins. Sleeps 8+ with one room with single bunk beds, one room with a king bed, and one room with a queen bed and single bunk beds. Two recently remodeled bathrooms.
The space
This is our primary home, but we travel a lot! When we’re home, we can still host up to 4 in our guest suite that has a queen bed, twin bunks, an en-suite bathroom with shower, and a small kitchenette.
Guest access
Main floor is up two steps at the entrance. Guest suite is down wide interior stairs, one floor. Single step up into main living area.

Neighbourhood
Downtown Evergreen is a 5 minute walk from our home, with historic small town charm, coffee shops, a bakery, several cute local restaurants and shops, a winery, and the Evergreen lake, which is open in the summer for non-motorized water vehicles and in the winter for ice skating. You can also hike down the back of our property for creek fishing and up the other side of the creek (over a walking bridge) to a local brewery without crossing a road! Mountain biking and hiking is right out our back door. 30 minutes to local skiing and 45-90 minutes to Colorado’s world-class ski resorts.
Getting to my home
A car is easiest to be able to explore everything Evergreen and the region has to offer. You can access our house with Uber/Lyft/taxi service from the Denver Airport, but it’s best arranged in advance with a local Evergreen company to ensure the driver doesn’t cancel driving when they realize we’re up in the mountains. There is also a regional bus directly into and back from downtown Denver (which has train service to/from the airport) at the beginning and end of workday hours during business days. The bus stop is ~1 mile and takes 35 mins walking or 15 mins biking from our house. If we’re home, we’re happy to get you to and from transport. If available, we can discuss use of our 7 passenger plug-in electric hybrid SUV. We also have a 10-yr old “work” truck that seats 6 and is almost always available.
Nearest airport
Denver International Airport is just under an hour away without traffic. Depending on the time of day, we usually plan 90 minutes.
