General overview
Comfortable residence close to the beach and lots of tropical excursions. Our little town is an hidden gem! We have 4 restaurants and 2 little shops where you find whatever you need. You can literally walk on our beach for miles! You will encounter endless wildlife and birds. A true paradise!
The space
3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We have two bedrooms downstairs and two bathroom downstairs. Upstairs there is a full apartment with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining space plus a balcony.
Outside is a great outdoor living space with a small pool (we call it a cocktail pool) and covered dining area.
Guest access
Two floors but two bedrooms and bathrooms on main floor if mobility is an issue.
Notes
We have a beautiful fat cat that will need to be taken care of during exchange. She is pretty low maintenance and loves to be where you are but is not a cuddler. She loves to be outside when you are outside.

Neighbourhood
You will find the beach within a 12 minute walk (not advisable in the dark as there are no side walks) and 4 restaurant/bars and several snack places there as well. Surfing is amazing here! Also there is a mini supermarket there where you can find anything you may need. You can do without a car but it would make your life a little more pleasant and you'd be able to adventure more if you have one.
Within 30 minutes you find Jaco Beach which is a tourist destination with lots of shops, restaurants of all kinds, a beach and shopping. There lots of adventure tours such as ATV's , ziplining, hiking as well. Also within 45 minutes is the most visited destination in Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio National Park.
Getting to my home
Our home is located 2 hours south of San Jose airport. You would be best renting a car but there are several transfer companies located around San Jose.
Nearest airport
Juan Santamaria International Airport, SJO. There is also a commuter airport 30 minutes away in Quepos that is served by Sansa Airlines
Getting around
A rental car would be best but you can get by without one if you are ok walking 12 minutes to the beach area.
