Neighbourhood
A beautiful, leafy, affluent area in South West London, its probably as green as you get in London. The local stretch of the river Thames is not tidal and so hosts all sorts of activities for people and is bustling with wildlife. There is a paddleboard in the garage you ca. Take down and enjoy exploring the river banks, or hire a local electric boat or even jump on an old steam river taxi down to Hampton Court, Henry the VIII's famous Palace or up to the stunning Richmond. Richmond Park is also on your doorstep, to enjoy the deer or a cream tea at Pembroke Lodge look out over Surrey Hills or back into central London with Londons longest line of sight origin at King Henry's Mount. There is a huge amount to do! Plus Kingstom itself is famous for shopping, with pretty much EVERYTHING you could want, including Lodnons John Lewis flagship store.
Getting to my home
18 minutes walk to kKingston Station or 5 minutes to the nearest bus stop, which can take you to Richmond tube station in 15mins.
Nearest airport
Heathrow and Gatwick both easy access by public transport or taxi in less than an hour.
Getting around
I walk and cycle everywhere, but having a car/using the occasional taxi is definitely handy for some things like shopping.
