General Overview
Our home is in Broome, Western Australia, gateway to the Kimberley. We are a 5 minute drive to Chinatown, and a 7 minute drive to Cable Beach.
The Space
A comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with large open plan living/kitchen/family-room area.
Main bedroom has king bed and ensuite, 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed, king single bed, trundle bed and cot.
There is a barbecue in the large outdoor area and a backyard pool.
Guest Access
Single storey home with one step up to access. the house.
Notes
Please be aware there is a $350 cleaning fee that guests pay, which will partially cover cleaning and laundry. We appreciate this is quite expensive but is standard Broome prices and one we can't avoid.

Neighbourhood
We are in a quiet suburb of Broome. There are a couple of playgrounds within walking distance of our house. As mentioned before, if you want to be able to get out and see Broome it is best to have a car.
Getting to my home
Broome is 2230 kms from Perth. If you drove from Perth to Broome non stop it would take 24 hours of driving. There are direct flights from Perth which take about 2 1/2 hours.
Nearest airport
Broome International Airport is a 5 minute drive from our house.
Getting Around
There is some public transport available but we would highly recommend hiring a vehicle while in Broome.

Jennifer and Stuart were the hosts of our first home exchange earlier this year. They were great hosts and and now friends and we were delighted to have them as our first guests in our newly renovated apartment. We are so happy that they felt at home in our little retreat and treated it as it was their home. I wish we had an opportunity to meet but we'll find another time to catch-up.
