General overview
Great and calm area, perfect to relax and feel zen. A lot of space inside and outside.
The space
We love our home because it is the perfect balance between nature and the city. There are trails in the forest right behind our house. You can walk, enjoy the scenery and see animals all year long.
1st floor: washroom, dryer and wash machine, kitchen, dish washer, dining room, living room with a fireplace and lots of windows to enjoy the view of the forest. We also have a lot of board games you can use and enjoy in family.
2nd floor: master bedroom (king size bed) and walk-in closet, 2 kid rooms (double beds), bathroom with a claw foot tub.
Basement: It is now a playroom with a tv, xboxone and kids' toys. If you need, it could be changed for a 4th bedroom and a living room. There is also a small section where you can do your workout. It has a rower, stationary bike, weights/bench and yoga mats.
Outside: At the back of the house, we have a big deck where you can sit, eat, use the BBQ and just relax. We also have a heated pool where you can play and relax. We have an area where you can make fires and grill your own sausages or marshmallows. In the shed, you have many amenities you can use, snowshoes, ice skates, chairs, bikes, etc.

Neighbourhood
Our home is located in a small city called St-Colomban. It is a city with a lot of young families. Consequently, there are a lot of activities and facilities for kids. You can see many parks all around the city. We live on a dead-end, so it is very quiet and there is no traffic. There are also lots of local restaurants, farmer's markets, as well as organic food grown by the farmers. There are many lakes and rivers around the city where you can swim, kayak, raft or simply enjoy the view. There are also many golf clubs and cycling trails.
In the cities around our house, you can do many outdoor activities like: ski, hike, kayak, climb, bike, fish, golf, ATV, horse back riding, festivals, etc. You can also do many indoor activities like: shopping, visiting museums, movie theaters, historical sites, shows (music, plays, comedians, etc), libraries, art exhibitions, etc. Everyone can find something to do and enjoy their time here!
Getting to my home
Depending where you arrive/live, you might need to take the plane and take a taxi to our house. If you lend us your car, we will probably do the same and you could use our car(s). Otherwise, you will need to rent a car as it will be easier and faster for you to get around.
Nearest airport
Montréal-pierre Elliott Trudeau airport (40/45 minutes from our house depending on the traffic)
