General Overview

This is our recreational home. Coco is a beach town. Our condo is a 7 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes walk to 6/7 restaurants and 14. Minutes to the heart of downtown. We have a beautiful deck. The condo was listed as 750 sq. Feet, two bed, two bath. My gut tells me they used the deck to get the total up to 750. One bedroom has two single beds and the other has a king. Both bathrooms are a decent size but they only have showers. The pool does have a jacuzzi tub. There are 22 condos in our complex. At least half are Canadians with Costa Ricans, US and Italian citizens rounding out the neighbours.

The Space

Our complex, Green Turtle, has 22 condos. It has a lovely pool and beautifully cared for tropical greenery. 20 of 22 condos, including our condo, are NOT rental units.

Getting to my home

The International airport that is a 30 minutes, $40-50 US taxi ride away is called Daniel Obudar, Liberia, Costa Rica.

Nearest airport

The airport is 25 km away but the road infrastructure in Costa Rica makes it a 30 minute drive.

Getting Around

Renting cars is super expensive in Costa Rica. Our condo is in a walkable location. Groceries are more challenging but local taxis are cheap and plentiful.
