Welcome to our bit of Heaven here in Narragansett!
Welcome to Narragansett! Our beach house is located just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean and one of Rhode Island's best beaches.
The space
Available for exchange during the week (Monday-Friday) from September through May. Not available in July or August (we rent the house then... sorry :-()
The house has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 2 living rooms and a great open concept kitchen.
The interior layout is ideal for multiple or large families, with a brand-new open kitchen, two living rooms and lots of space to spread out.
The first level has two queen bedrooms, one with en suite full bathroom, a half bathroom/laundry area, and a living room with flat screen TV, gas fireplace, and built in shelving. The newly renovated chef's kitchen is also on the first floor. It features a large granite island, new appliances, and a top-of-the-line 6 burner Thermador professional grade stove, which is perfect for boiling lots of lobsters and making heaps of pancakes on the flat top griddle. There’s also a dining area, as well a slider to a large back deck. The deck has a gas grill, table and chairs and a great view of the ocean. The back yard also has a great swingset - a perfect place for kids to play after a day at the beach.
Upstairs, there is a bright and open great room with a wall mounted flatscreen TV, as well as a kitchenette with a sink, disposal, full sized refrigerator, microwave, and instant hot water for tea. There is an ocean facing balcony. The second floor also features a master suite, plus two additional bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a twin and trundle. There's also an additional full bathroom. You'll love the cozy sunroom with shelves of books, toys, and games for guests' use and enjoyment. The sunroom has a queen sized futon and blackout shades and could be used by an occasional guest.
Kids will love the swingset in the backyard, and we have a great outside shower with hot water. The TVs have access to cable, Netflix, Roku, HBO, Showtime, Amazon Prime and Wii.
We use the house regularly and rent it out in the summer. Consequently, it is not available in July or August.

Neighbourhood
The house is located in historic Narragansett, Rhode Island. It's a short walk to Roger Wheeler State Beach, between Point Judith and the Port of Galilee with easy access to restaurants and the Block Island Ferry. 20 minutes from the University of Rhode Island.
Getting to my home
You can easily take Amtrak from Boston or from New York to Kingston Station. From there, you'd need to take an Uber to a rental car location.
Driving, it's 3 hours from NYC on 95 North, and 1:30 from Boston going South.

Getting around
You'll need a car, but you can walk to the beach and to restaurants.
