So many opportunities for Slow Food. These clams became the best Coconut Milk Clam Chowder ever! The nearby bay is a stand-up paddle boarding and sea kayaking haven, all with the ocean in view. Gentle, curious, friendly harbor seals often swim nearby when boarding or kayaking in the bay. It is such fun to catch Dungeness crab from a kayak or boat! Low tide loveliness. Migrating and resident whales are abundant along the Oregon Coast and may be seen from the shoreline ... Nearby adventure -- destination majesty! Nearby adventure -- destination majesty! The coastal shoreline provides an abundant food source for gorgeous, wandering egrets and herons. A silly looking prehistoric ham poses near the shoreline! Trees meet sea -- glorious! Rainforest delight. Mushrooms disguised as little old men in hats :> Endless opportunity for adventure. Heading home after hours on the beautiful beach. Breathing in the beauty - peace. The blue sunsets are my favorites. Breathtaking! The beach aglow in color! Sea and sky come together in a canvas of water and light at day's end. Full Sturgeon Supermoon 2022 Many waterfalls to explore in the area.

General Overview

Our Slice of Heaven by the Sea is in a small, hilled village of 400 residents on the North Oregon Coast reminiscent of Cinque Terre. To the west the beautiful ocean and to the east a sea of natural greenery, rolling hills and mountains of old growth rain forest. Adventure, scenery and wildlife are endless here on the Oregon Coast. Ours is a community seeking natural beauty in a coastal environment in perfect harmony with the salt air, lapping waves, cool breezes and miles of sandy beach. It is truly a peaceful, unspoiled and breathtaking coastal paradise. It is very often just us and the vastness of the sea. There is nothing like toes in the sand to sooth the soul. Peace. Beauty. Tranquility.

The Space

The upstairs includes an awe-inspiring ocean view. Open kitchen with granite counter-tops, breakfast bar, deep cast iron sink and new appliances. The living room has a workspace and comfortable IKEA couch and recliner. Log in to your favorite programs on the Samsung Smart TV with Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube, and more. Two guest bedrooms have queen beds, new mattresses, black-out curtains, and closet space. A full bathroom with dual vanity, shower and tub. The lower level has a huge master suite - with an organic, Loom & Leaf king mattress and black-out curtains for an amazing night's sleep. The king suite includes a jetted tub, shower, walk-in closet, sitting area and view of the ocean to top it off. The laundry room on the lower level includes a washer and dryer, bathroom and utility sink. There are luxury vinyl floors throughout this home. Two-car garage. Zen Garden out back. Take a short walk and enjoy the miles of glorious beach.

Guest Access

We will provide you with the location and code for a lock box on site. There are 12 steps up to the front entry. Once you open the garage there is one step into the lower level and 12 steps up to the main level.

Neighbourhood

Adventure, scenery and wildlife are endless here on the Oregon Coast. The beach can be reached directly from our home, just a short walk down a path with railing and steps. We love long walks on the beach searching for agates and shells, kayaking and stand-up paddling in the nearby bay, crabbing and fishing in one of the coasts most productive areas and hiking/exploring coastal trails. Visiting nearby small communities with eateries and galleries up and down the coast, charter fishing, tide pooling and whale watching just begin to scratch the surface of the opportunities here. At the end of the day the best view of the ocean and sunset is right here in our Slice of Heaven on the Sea!
