General Overview

Our accommodation is close to the city center of Nantes (5 minutes by car), easily accessible in 15 minutes by the tram located right next to the house. We are also 5 minutes from the airport (you will sometimes hear and see planes passing, I prefer to warn you anyway but the children love it).
Our house dates from 2015, so it has all the comforts and amenities of a modern home.
We live in a large contemporary style house of 135 m2. It is spacious, bright and very pleasant to live in. It was completely built 5 years ago and is therefore perfectly modern and functional.
It is functional with its private spaces: master suite, children's area, open kitchen, patio...
The living room is more than 65 m2, including a spacious kitchen open to the living room. The master bedroom is 20 square metres and has its own walk-in shower room with vanities and dressing room. We also have a bedroom (used as a playroom by the children on the ground floor) with a single bed that can be converted into a double bed, a shaded outdoor terrace of more than 25m2, a laundry room and a garden of 240m2. The terraces await you with a part in natural stone and a part in exotic wood for the aperitif area, all representing more than 50m2 of terrace. The house is mainly equipped with noble materials for the living room and bathroom of the master suite: beech, natural stone. The kitchen is fully equipped: American fridge, induction hob, hood, dishwasher... Dryer and washing machine are also available in the storeroom. The first floor is composed of 2 bedrooms: one with a single bed that can be converted into a double bed, the other with a single bed in height (loft bed). The rooms are more than 11m2. The bedrooms on the first floor have their own bathroom with bathtub. You will appreciate our accommodation for comfort, with also the necessary equipment to accommodate children. Our accommodation is perfect for couples and families. If you are coming with your children/babies, let me know what you need and I will try to find what you need.

It is ideally located to recharge your batteries near the sea while enjoying the cultural and artistic visits of Nantes. Our accommodation is close to the city center of Nantes, easily accessible in 15 minutes by tram located right next to the house or 5 minutes by car. You can also go to the beach as we are only 25 minutes from the nearest beach. Our house is in the center of a small town in the Nantes region with all the necessary amenities and quick access to the city. The PUY DU FOU park is located 1 hour away. The lake of Grand Lieu, classified as a national nature reserve, is 10 minutes from the house.

We are a couple in our early fourties with a 9 year old daughter and a 6 year old son. We arrived in Nantes 10 years ago and built our house to be able to access the city center quickly and easily. We are delighted to have settled in this city full of charm and with an ever-changing cultural dynamic. We also enjoy the sea on weekends, and strolling in Pornic or Guérande.
We love simple evenings with friends on the terrace over an aperitif and we are passionate about Bordeaux wines. Our little pleasure while traveling is to discover local gustatory specialties and we love history (from medieval to royal), a passion that our children are also beginning to develop.
