Neighbourhood
I love that I can walk everywhere. You are in nature in about 10 minutes but also in the city center in 10 minutes.
Supermarkets, farmers markets, boutiques are about 15 minutes away on foot.
Europcar also has a station in Kirchheim if you want to rent a car. There are also car sharing offers within the city.
Cars can be parked for free on the street in front of the house.
Nearest airport
Stuttgart 20km
Getting around
You can walk, cycle or use public transport. We also have more and more cycle paths.
A car offers more flexibility but is not absolutely necessary.

Annika's place is so comfy and welcoming, it is difficult to leave:) She was so fantastic to accept our hospitality request and her home is a warm, bright, plant-full, cosy and quiet place. We hope we can return this big favour one day:) Thank you Annika!
Annika ‘s home is perfect for an exchange. We had everything we needed. It is easy to feel at home in the flat directly, equipment, information and instructions was excellent.
We were welcomed by a meal and games for the kids, perfect and very thoughtful. Annika provided lots of info about the area, hikes and sights. Communication before, during and after exchanging has been easy and very nice.
We went by train from Sweden to Kirchheim and used the area’s public transportation for all excursions. Easy and efficient, no car needed! The area has lots of things to offer.
I recommend exchanging with Annika & Martin.
We did a lovely homeexchange with Annika & Martin.
Their appartment in the center of Kirchheim unter Teck close to everything is very clean and tidy and we felt very comfortable there.
Despite being in the center of town it is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and just a little trafic.
The appartment has 2 nice bedrooms, a modern kitchen and a lovely balcony - among other rooms.
Annika and Martin are so wellorganised when it comes to homeexchanging - and their house manual is worldclass! Which is quite respect worthy, as this was their first exchange.
Communication with Annika and Martin has been smooth and easy and we appreciated all the stuff and recommendations they prepared for us - including a bed, a high chair and toys for our grandson.
We recommend an exchange with Annika and Martin in the warmest way.
Lone & Per
Hobro, Danmark
Annika & Martin took excellent care of our house and garden. They even washed the linen they had used and left the house spotless.
We came home and found our house completely spotless.
Annika and Martin had prepared a meal for us ready to put in the owen when we got back.
The couple took god care of our chickens and they even managed to get our robotic lawnmover running again when it was stuck.
Thank you Annika & Martin!
Dear Annika, dear Martin! Thank you for being our guests!
Annika and Martin gained their first home exchange experience with us. They were wonderful guests, looking after our home and our chickens. Communication was always friendly, quick and easy. When we came back from our trip, our house was in pristine condition! We can recommend an exchange with Annika and Martin with a very clear conscience and wish them both all the best for their future!
Melinda and her family stayed overnight on their trip to Paris. They were so nice and kind. It was great to met you all! They left our apartment exemplary and surprised us with some Thank You gifts! <3 We would absolutely recommend an exchange and hope to see you in Budapest sometime again!
Sara’s home was even more beautiful than in the pictures and exactly as described. We felt welcome and comfortable from the very beginning. It was especially thoughtful of them to prepare apple juice from their own garden for us. Everything was well thought out: plenty of bedding, towels, and storage space for our clothes. The bedroom could be wonderfully darkened, allowing us to sleep well despite the long summer days. The comfortable bed, the lovely garden, and the wonderful conservatory all contributed to our well-being. The neighbors were extremely nice and helpful, and we felt very safe in the beautiful residential area. The lake, beaches, and downtown were only a few minutes' walk away, and we greatly enjoyed walking around the lake and exploring the beaches.
Sara made a great effort to provide tips that matched our interests. Thanks to her recommendations, we discovered many things we wouldn't have found otherwise. The day trip to Öland was a highlight. The house guide was also very helpful and contained all the important information, leaving no questions unanswered.
Our time in Sweden, especially during the Midsommar festival, was unforgettable. Sara gave us great tips where to go.
Thanks to the well-equipped kitchen, we were able to cook for ourselves and try out Swedish recipes and even had a BBQ in the garden.
Our home exchange experience was simply wonderful. Communication with Sara was always very friendly and informative, and their responses were quick and clear. They were absolutely reliable and adhered to all agreements, making the exchange very smooth.
When we returned home, we found our house clean and tidy, just as agreed. They were very respectful of our property overall.
Upon our return, we found beautiful flowers, lovely words, an exciting report on their experiences, and even a Swedish book to boost our motivation to learn Swedish.
We had a fantastic exchange with this family and can warmly recommend them for future home exchanges.
We are so happy that Per and Lone shared our house with us! We felt as this the Danish paradise! It made us feel directly welcome when they prepared us a delicious dinner and some other treats like vine, honey from their own bees and Lakritz sweets. Thank you! It was just a perfect arrival.
The house was tidy and clean, spacious and the interior was so inspiring! The kitchen was fully equiped with everything you need. We loved to cook meals in the kitchen and enjoyed the meals in the conservatory watching the birds in the garden - alternatively on the terrace or on the balcony with a beautiful view over the garden.
The garden is stunning: Bees next to apple trees and berry bushes, vegetable patches, a green house delighted us everyday. We loved to harvest our own delicious berries and tomatoes. And the best: It was absolutley effortless as "Robert" - the robotic mawn lower - was doing a perfect job. The chickens were also effortless: We were having a chat with them here and then over the day and received eggs from them. :D
The house is in a quiet place at the end of an one-way-street so that there isn't any noteworthy traffic.
Oue and the region around is a treasure! Lovely lakes in the woods, grain fields as far as the eye can see and beautiful nice villages that want to be discovered. We enjoyed the great walks and hikes and could have - if the weather would have been a little bit better - also done bike tours as they offered us their bikes including helmets.
Kattegat (Baltic Sea) is just a stone's throw away but also picturesque villages and beaches as Lokken and Lonstrup are easy to reach by car. Skagen and Grenen was also an amazing day trip. We got a lot of tips and recommendations from their Exchange folder as well as during our continous communication during the stay. And they shared the secret for Denmark's best soft ice shop which is only a few mins by car. Can't miss it when you are there.
We highly recommend an exchange with Lone and Per at their wonderful home!
As this was our first exchange with receiving guests in our home we were a little bit nervous if we thought for everything to make it comfortable for them. Lone and Per directly blown our concers away. The communication was so nice, easy and kind. As they are super experienced exchangers it was the perfect match for us "newcomers".
They treated our home with respect and care. We found it perfectly cleaned and tidied up when we came back. Even the towels and bed linen of their son and his family whom left some days earlier were already washed. We loved the little present and the kind notes we found in our guestbook. The neighbours also liked them very much and find the contact super nice and kind. :)
We want to thank you for this awesome experience and a travel we will remember a life long!
Thank you very much for the opportunity to have our first home exchange experience with you. We felt welcome and really comfortable. The view from the living room over the valley is unique and we fell in love with the area. Thank you also for the lovely communication, so that we always had the feeling that we could get in touch without "disturbing" you on your journey. Those were really great Easters that we will remember for a long time. <3
