Neighbourhood

You can reach everything very quickly on foot. You can be in nature in about 10 minutes but also in 10-15 minutes in the city center. Supermarkets, farmers markets, boutiques are within about 15 minutes walking distance. Europcar also has a station in Kirchheim if you want to rent a car. There are also car-sharing services within the city. Cars can be parked free of charge on the street in front of the house.

You can walk, cycle or take public transport. We also have more and more cycle paths. A car offers more flexibility, but is not absolutely necessary.

  • Annika and Martin's home was perfect for us! Our traveling group was two adults and a six year old, and their home had plenty of space, was extremely clean, and had everything we needed to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Annika was extremely prepared and communication was easy and thorough - she has given us something to aspire to! Kirchheim is a lovely area, and we were able to really see the sights. There was plenty to keep us busy in the immediate area, but we rented a car for the second half of our trip to ensure we could see everything. Swabia was beautiful and clean, the people were friendly, and everything was easy! We loved this trip. We can't recommend it enough! Thank you Annika and Martin for a fabulous vacation!

  • Annika ‘s home is perfect for an exchange. We had everything we needed. It is easy to feel at home in the flat directly, equipment, information and instructions was excellent. We were welcomed by a meal and games for the kids, perfect and very thoughtful. Annika provided lots of info about the area, hikes and sights. Communication before, during and after exchanging has been easy and very nice. We went by train from Sweden to Kirchheim and used the area’s public transportation for all excursions. Easy and efficient, no car needed! The area has lots of things to offer. I recommend exchanging with Annika & Martin.

  • We did a lovely homeexchange with Annika & Martin. Their appartment in the center of Kirchheim unter Teck close to everything is very clean and tidy and we felt very comfortable there. Despite being in the center of town it is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and just a little trafic. The appartment has 2 nice bedrooms, a modern kitchen and a lovely balcony - among other rooms. Annika and Martin are so wellorganised when it comes to homeexchanging - and their house manual is worldclass! Which is quite respect worthy, as this was their first exchange. Communication with Annika and Martin has been smooth and easy and we appreciated all the stuff and recommendations they prepared for us - including a bed, a high chair and toys for our grandson.
