Neighbourhood

I love that I can walk everywhere. You are in nature in about 10 minutes but also in the city center in 10 minutes. Supermarkets, farmers markets, boutiques are about 15 minutes away on foot. Europcar also has a station in Kirchheim if you want to rent a car. There are also car sharing offers within the city. Cars can be parked for free on the street in front of the house.

You can walk, cycle or use public transport. We also have more and more cycle paths. A car offers more flexibility but is not absolutely necessary.

  • We did a lovely homeexchange with Annika & Martin. Their appartment in the center of Kirchheim unter Teck close to everything is very clean and tidy and we felt very comfortable there. Despite being in the center of town it is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and just a little trafic. The appartment has 2 nice bedrooms, a modern kitchen and a lovely balcony - among other rooms. Annika and Martin are so wellorganised when it comes to homeexchanging - and their house manual is worldclass! Which is quite respect worthy, as this was their first exchange. Communication with Annika and Martin has been smooth and easy and we appreciated all the stuff and recommendations they prepared for us - including a bed, a high chair and toys for our grandson.
