Neighbourhood

Our flat is a studio in Prenzlauer Berg which is probably the best neighbourhood to stay if you want to explore Berlin- it is very central, very secure and full of cafes and restaurants and well connected to the rest of the city. Gentrification is taking place and you will find restaurated properties from the turn of the century and also very modern places next to each other. In the streets, there is a buzzing atmosphere. As the apartment is located in the rear building it is very calm, we also have a nice private terrace in the patio which is very rare in central Berlin. You will find endless cafés, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Prenzlauer Berg is said to have the highest density of restaurants and cafés in Germany. The Museumsinsel (museums island) is just a few minutes away and can be reached with direct Tram connection.

Getting around

There is access to public transportation just around the corner. The next station is "Schönhauser Allee". You will find U-Bahn, S-Bahn, (Metro-)Tram and busses there. Just step out of the door.
