General Overview

Beautiful historic home in the heart of Heber City. Close to Park City, Deer Valley, and Sundance ski resorts. The neighborhood is quiet, but main roads nearby can get you to ski/hike/bike/golf destinations within 10-25 minutes. There is a great patio with cafe lights, dining table, fire pit, and a fenced yard. The front porch is perfect for having a coffee or a glass of wine. There are several ski resorts nearby, including Deer Valley, Park City, and Sundance, and several others a little further away (Snowbird/Alta/Solitude/Powder/SnowBasin are all about an hour away.) Excellent hiking, biking, golfing, camping, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. In the winter, there are sleigh rides, ice skating, and ice castles. In the summer, there are reservoirs for swimming, horseback riding, and tubing down the Provo River. Don't miss the hot springs Crater for a relaxing soak, scuba diving, or stand up paddle board yoga! The Space

This is a 3-bedroom and 3-bathroom house. There is also a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room. The main bedroom has a king-size bed with Tempurpedic mattress and its own en suite bath. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a twin bed with a rollout twin trundle and a guest bedroom has a queen size bed, shelves, a closet, chairs, and a giant TV. These two bedrooms hare a bathroom upstairs. There is a beautiful kitchen with eat-in dining area and also a formal dining room. The cozy living room has a gas fireplace and tons of books. There is laundry in the basement if needed. We are open for hospitality, simultaneous, and non-reciprocal exchanges. Possibly also non-simultaneous if possible.

Guest Access

2-level home. Two bedrooms and bath upstairs. Master bedroom/bath, kitchen, living, dining, and guest bath downstairs.

Notes

We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. The dogs go to family when we travel. If you like cats, we can leave them there....or we can board them as well.

Neighbourhood

You can walk to several things nearby: movies, grocery store, some restaurants. A car is recommended to access hiking, skiing, etc. There is a bus between Heber and Park City, but the stops are limiited, so there would be quite a bit of transferring.

Getting to my home

A car is recommended. You can Uber from the airport, but it is a bit costly.

Nearest airport

Salt Lake City International Airport, approx. 40-45 minutes away.

Getting Around

There is a grocery store, movie theatre, some shops, etc. within walking distance. However, a car is recommended to access most hiking, skiing, etc that would interest guests.

Rebecca

We are a small family of three. We love to travel, eat, and explore! Rebecca is a teacher, Zac works for a school district doing IT, and Emma is an 8th grader. We have been doing Airbnb and VRBO for years, but thought we would try this to hopefully save more money and travel even more! Eventually we'd like to have remote work, and then retire, and continue traveling frequently.
